Heya all!
I have played efreeze abit about 3 years ago and thought i might try it again. However i dont have any idea how to get started. If any1 could give me some kind of ToDo-list or any pointers on how to get started, it would be much appriciated

Im guessing the easiest way is if i start from scratch, so right now ive just installed Quake 3. I also downloaded "efreeze 1.2.0 final" and "point realease 1.32" but i dunno if thats the right way to go.
As i said, i need help... patches, mods and maps. I also downloaded Qtracker since Quake itself didnt fin any servers.

heya, i advise you to get the q3verison switcher from the downloadssection of this page. you only have to install the 1.32version of quake, then afterwards you will be able to launch pretty every version of quake 3 by this versionswitcher. so just install the 1.32 version, then the versionswitcher and finaly the mods and maps, you can get from this website. the only thing that could cause troubles is punkbuster in 1.32 ;D

Oki, thanks alot! I tested some and i found that pb does give me some probs... or atleast i dunno how to turn it on, cause the server says i dont have it even tho its in my q3-folder.

Maybe you should have a look on evenbalance.com ,this could help you to fix those problems! anyway the public ef-servers (not many remaining) are still on the 1.31version

Yay, finally played my first ef-game in over 3 years. Skill was lousy but it was still fun. Thanks for ur help
