Gotta admit that Psy - you got a weird love & hate situation with Kila =p.
Still ALL servers are unpure. And why? Whyyyyy!! =P. It wont stop cheating but it will help lil ;>
Pure servers don't block dll-based cheats which can be inserted into the q3 address space.
But sure, it will help a little.
well, i would like to remind you about g_forceclients variable, which is checking if client has correct mod ( and version of it ) and doesnt disable custom pk3 files ( like models or weapons custom skins ). It can be turned on and off during the game and you doesnt need to restart map (like when u're changing from sv_pure 0 to 1 )
Ppl who has wrong files, on g_forceclients 1 server will receive spam in console about downloading correct version of efreezeeeeeee

and another thing about that is, whenever ur moving around and u get some random gay pb lag, you will continue running automaticly without ur finger on the button untill you next click it, same with shooting - highly annoying.

its a game and it ment to have fun..cheating destroy the fun for everyone exept urself...playing without cheat is much more fun, if you havent tried it i would recommend that you do

to evol: you can fix it by lower the polling rate on mouse 125 works fine for me...first i tried 1000 and that was a nightmare! 500 works but still sometimes it fuck up. 125 works just like 1.31 for me no delay or anyting...
if you have a modern mouse you can change it in program u got with it...if its old i dunno
Killa is just the funniest guy i know on Efreeze, I swear everytime he says something I just start laughing, I mean... just read his post... who in his right mind can take that shit seriously.
Blackdog tell us why you can shoot someone with your crosshair at a 45º away from your target everytime ... if u reply with some of that funny talk u have it's all good too. I don't mind if u call me a nerd and whatever and I seriously doubt Psylle does either.
It's fine to say that when we have CWs on 1.32 the cheats go way down, and it's rather obvious how the skill of so many pro players goes way down. But it's just f-ing annoying to have someone on your server fuck things up (And yes, there are lots of cheats, not a few here and there).

If about blackdog, then I don't know why everybody think he is a cheater. He doesn't show outstanding playing. He has upper intermediate skills. Several player in our community show much better playing but nobody treat them as cheaters.

Just like some others pointed out, maybe it's time to set up some real cohesion between servers? Apparently, the hook settings are about the same everywhere. Old-timers (that should include everybody reading these lines I guess :P) should know this is a great achievement already or they have too short memories to remember "zS Fast hook" and "zS Slow hook" (lol).
Hence, the next step is having a common ban list.
Also, I remember there was some kick/ban votes available. Why were these suppressed? We can't ask admins to be there 24/7.
Atrey, you seem to know much about what can and what can't be done within quake. Would it be possible to have an arbitrary list of community members based on people's IPs so that only them who would be able to call kick/ban votes and only them would be able to participate in kick/ban votes. Also, no such vote could be run on a "community member", instead, the system could ask for a confirmation to spectate and record this player for later use.
In short, this would be a kind of way to authentificate us, community members, among all players and grant us the right to fight together against cheaters.

I started playing here on freeze servers when i was 12 and now i am 18 and i am still playing here on efreeze and it is still a lot of fun. If that makes me a nerd, then i am happy to be one

I know when somebody is accused of cheating - one can fast loose his temper... but please do not insult the others (especially my 333mates), I know it's hard from your position but try maybe we all should to come down... it makes me sad that you see this community as so bad! I think you would have more fun in other ways...
To have some history review: Kila (= Black_Dog) was in one of the oldest freeze clans! |SW| = Spider's Web was there even before efreeze... And it's old members are all respected. though I can't remember all players from the clan... I think A-Train, Burzyk, ... were in there. Kila just didn't join another clan, cause he is still loyal to SW.

BTW, you can read back the whole topic, i never accused kila of cheating in it, neither did i ban him. I just had the blues thinking about all the cheat i cant spot because i never even tried one. And i know there are many lame cheaters.

Evol, set "/pb_system 0" when you play the next time. It helped me to remove pb lag.
Well it's been long since i've played Q3 .. now i am playing EVE http://www.eve-online.com
Today i've noticed that old client is not allowed anymore .. and downloaded the new client (1.2.0). Let me say it totally sucks and i can't believe we've come so low. The main problem is with SKINS .. they're either all red or all blue /ef_enemycolor gives only two variables (bbb or rrr) so if i am in a red team and choose bbb .. all are blue even my team and if i am in red team and choose bbb then they're all blue. Where's the WHITE ICE ? like it was on the first efreeze ? I think white transparent ICE (while frozen) should be added not some glowing shit that makes everyone as your enemy even your team mates .. so i really don't know who to unfreeze anymore because i was in blue team and all the frozen players were red ?!?! so please fix this or at least make an option to use default as it white ice with the frozen body as is.
