Yes thats the main purpose of changing the score points. This way you can really see the qualities of players.
We can also just go with the awards themselves, but then you don't really reward the players.

The onyl downfall to this is that a normal frag or thaw must be 5 points.
Because else the bonus will be relativley to high compared to the normal score.
Maybe bonus is not the right term either because it sounds like you get it for free. But actually this system alows you to see the ADDED VALUE of a players playstyle.
