I'm going to have a holiday soon and I want to play some 1v1's. So I've been thinking about making a 1v1 tourney, see who's good and who just has a big mouth. Who's up for it? I need enough players competing in it otherwise it's not worth wasting my time. I will make the rules and it will included forced maxpackets and no gay maps, the maps allowed will appear later on here. I will have to think of a system to make it work well but first things first, post here if you want to compete.

I haven't played 1v1 very long but hm ok.. sign me up, sounds like fun.
Actually, do you know when this tournament will happen? Because I no longer have a decent graphics card (ya it blew up) and games like Quake feel very shitty, really low fps and other crap, can't predict when i'll get a new card but pfft... I'm sure there will be more 1v1 tournaments in the future if I can't be at this one.
I don't know, as I said, i'll have to see how many people will sign up to see if it's worth my time.

Heyah, i' d like to be in this tourney
i'm in
It seems we got quite some players wanting to compete. Maybe we should about the way it will work. My suggestion is the player with most FRAGS will win, this instead of the most GAMES. I think this is more fair because if a player will lose 10-9 all the time it will show 0 won games. But yet he played very well and almost won each game. So if each player plays 3 maps at 2 different day/times, this is more fair because people can have a bad day and maybe it will be better another, so all together 6 maps with fraglimit 10, 60 frags for each win over a player. This will take a while but it is for fun only, no hurry. =)

If match will be ( for example ) NoNE vs SPC, can they play on LAN? or Me vs Bartek can we play on polish server?
ofcourse, if you both agree on it, it's all about fun, if you prefer a better server and your opponement agrees sure, if he doesn't agree it'll be on the server i will rent soon.

Will we replay 333 on next weekend? We all in ExS really really want this! And not for the rank in the league, but coz of the fact it is a clan war with !333! !!!

as for rules, it seems u want to make it like a league, right?
If there will be many ppl of course it wont be a league system, i mean where everyone plays everyones cos it will take ages and it will be difficult to manage (u have to do a strict calendar, and if some one cannot play? its 1v1, its not a war in which a team can play evenif not all members are present).
Imho u should set a double elimination table, the same way none did for the qualification part of the league. If someone loose the tourney is not over for him but he will be put in the lossers part of the table.
The league system u suggested (sum of frags instead of sum of visdtories) is really nice but i fear it will be impossible be completed.
What do u have in mind exactly?

Funny to see that almost everyone makes up excuses before the tournament is even official Ill compete.
But i hope i will have my pc bakc then. For the guys who didnt noticed i am already offline for about a month cause im infected with a virus. So im still waiting for a specially ordered cd to fix the bug.

i rent this servers at verygames , and i have a lot of problem with them !!
one week i wrote long posts in thier forum and mails !
first , i asked them to put these servers in 1.31 , they answered that they cant !! ??? perhaps in the future ! but for the moment : NO ! verygames q3 server run on 1.32 ! only !
in secon , i have full ftp accès on servers , i can chose and install on server , all the game which exist , but , all is automatic and protected ,
follow the chooses i have for Q3 !
I can help you with this. I rented a game server myself too and you shouldn't ask them anything because it will take too long, full ftp access is enough to change the version, the mod and the config
. If you have any questions I rented a server for 1 month and had various problems which had to be solved, I'm not questioning your admin skills, just offering my help if you would need it

2 new 24/7 servers are up 2moro. |ToR|efreeze public and |ToR|efreeze private. if you need any help in the amount of servers, i shall b happy 2 help. public is 22 slot excluding 2 private slots and the private server is 24 slot. Both should be up at 11am tomorrow and in 1.31 on same cfg as weed efreeze, but modified. eg. capturelimit 15. also can some1 help me out. i need to know the command for players stay frozen after the point. I will modify the players stay frozen after poin tomorrow night if i know the command. have fun all

Ok i see that there are no league servers in 1.31. So i have made a server in 1.31 temporarily, probably for 2day only for the people who want to play their match in 1.31. It is called 333 1v1 tourney password is pizza

AGAIN I ask.. really man.. I asked for like 100000 times, I send PM's to hitman.. But he doesn't reply :/
I can't play our match on that time and day.. Can someone make it to another day, and NOT saturday evening?
