Hi,

want to make somem suggestions to make the league more exiting

1. important point. at the moment both teams will respawn when a team scores a point. I think this is really not good for the balance in the game. Because if one team is better they will most likely win. Because every round you start 5v5. And if the team that scores will have their frozen bodies still frozen it will make the weaker team easier to score a point. this would be more fair if you ask me, alkso will bring a lot more exitement to the game.

2. the map timeelimit is 10 this is kinda short i say 15min would bee better.

3. the capturelimit is 10 this is low too its hard to make a comeback also would be more exitement if you just raise this to 15.

4. a beste of 3 maps.


mm just some suggestionsn to spice up the leugue.. over all u guys doing a great job so far..

i agree 100% with all rzr said! i found very interesting the fact frozen bodies still remain frozen after a score. And i've always been for 15 capture limit  if we play at best of 5. Other wise we could have played at best of 7.

I only think timelimit is set to 20mins right now, and i agree with this choice.

ty stema.. the 20 min timelimit is fine. Thjought it was 10 so my fault.. Yes king that's the way I always played it.. makes the game better balance and much more fun to play.. less spawn frags.. less random shots.. just more fun and exitement..

i did not know the bodys been keped frozon at all the only problem i had was that when i was spawing for some reson i spawned on top of some one elss and got frozon and who ever i spawned on could not move it happend 2 times in 2 matches i played and happend a some other time last year ones

they don kept frozen.. thats the new feuture i was suggesting.. that the team who won the point will kept frozen so that your teamm8s have to thaw u instead of all respawning when a point is made.

not a bad idea...we should try it...and fast

tbh i wouldnt be a fan of this frozen bodies idea but meh

altho its easier for the other team - now we've played some matches it could only really be implented in the next stage of fights

yes i meant for the next stage in the league. Its just something you have to get used to it but it will have many advantages as i stated allready

i think it would make the wars go faster and as the league has allready started it might upset the peeps who all ready played the wars but its up 333 league peeps

well atm there's qualification part of league, u can check the charts that only 4 clans will qualify plus us .. so as qualifications already started i think it would be rude to suddenly change the rules .. we can however change them for the 5 clan league .. as for timelimit, it's on 20 atm, fraglimit is 10 as mostly we play like it and same is with frozen bodies ..

ur suggestions are interesting, maybe if all qualified clans agree we can change some of the rules u suggested .. again i think qualified clans should agree here .. i'll write an email to clans which will qualify when qualification part will be over to see what respond i get .. we don't want to force something what other ppl might not like and we want to make it fair .. but indeed this can maybe be implemented into next league(s)

I agree 100% with everything razer said, it's more fair and makes the game more exciting. If a team is winning and scores at one point, and maybe 2 of their team are frozen they will thaw and the spawned other team has easy frags when they thaw. It's been like that since forever on 1.32, and it makes the games more interesting. Fraglimit 15 = best.

im sure there used to be 15 fraglimit here now its 10 or 12 to many peeps voting for dm6 when it was 15 fraglimit lol

thx for the feedback guys! Yes i agree with you none.. It would be nice if we come to the stage of the 5 clans to vote or implent it.. like you said just keep it like this now would love to see it changed thou. Over all good job 333.. Also someone said the games would go faster? What i suggested about the frozen bodies isn't faster..

yeah jacky, when i started the first server here in eu i used to have 15 for tdm and 10 for 1v1, as i was used to this when i started playing quake in usa. I just preferred to have best of 5, instead best of 7 like they used, cos some matches with well balanced teams could have lasteed to much (i remember a 3 hours game with loonies, lol!). But with new server ppl showed to prefer 10 as capture limit, so that is but sometimes we see round ending in less than 5 minutes..and well i think its too few!

So, im for changing the frozen body rule+15capture limit (still best of 5) for the fianl part of the league (if all agree of course)...and if some server owners r hearing, i would change till now at least the frozen body part in they tdm servs...just to get ppl used

kk sounds nice to me if its rased to 15 maby the topscore could be broken

it wonmt.. because with the new frzn body thingie its harder .. i used to play like this for 1.5 years and with a 150 ping my topscore was somewhere in 100+ with capture 15 and timelimit 20 althou i scores the 100 in 17 min or sop :P.. so dont expect that much also because some otyher top players there get like max 120 :P

I would like to see this happend none, so think about it.
I'm sure the whole GoR clan agree's.

In general I don't like the frozen bodies idea! I like the 15 fraglimit. But I would prefer best of 5.

Razer here's why: You said there can't be a "comeback in the map" Well with a best of 5 there can be a comeback OF a whole map, cause the team has time to concentrate again and choose a map they like.

It is 20 timelimit so nothing to worry; It was either Frag10 Best of 5 OR Frag15 Best of 3. We didnt want it go on too long (what Stema said). Well if you want a 15Fraglimit it's ok with me! But please leave Best of 5!

Public: Notice there's a difference between public and clanwars - I personally don't want anything changed, even lower the timelimit! On public servers there is no teamplay at all! There are campers (not for tactic), Score is all that matters! Teams are so often not balanced! If you make frag15 - it will get boring much faster!

The "frozen bodies stay frozen" idea is very much not in favour of my gameplay! I am not for this idea! But I am not the only one to decide!

have played with the idea for about 1.5 years now. And i guarantee you that the frozen bodies thing will bring more exitement. A comeback of a map is kinda weird if you ask me, its like ok we are down with 6-1 just give up this map o way we can make it because it capture 10 and we cant win because they are better and every round we start 5v5.. anyway i got your concerns but also in pubs the frozen bodies thing will come to a better gameplay after all..

indeed but if ever one elss starts to unfreeze all the time were is that gona leave me lol

maplimit 5 is beter i think, a team can always come back, I remember back when i was in oni, we lost the first 2 maps but we still won 2-3 so making the limit 5 would be a good choice

For the ones who don't agree with the frozen bodies... maybe some admin can implement it, I think everyone will like it better, you'll see the scores may be dropping, but there will be more excitement and more teamplay over all. Maybe if you can't sleep at one night, take a loot on www.ogl.org and see if a 1.32 clan is having a clanwar, take a loot on gtv and see how they play, it needs more tactics this way, it may seem a minor change but it changes the game quite a lot.

yes Lyor, as u know i play IFT on 1.32 U.S., but what's the problem, here no one has played on it and we already get disagreements .. that's why i'll vote and let qualified clans decide about it .. for sure there should be a server first with this on, otherwise i don't think there will be any positive respond ..

so if any admin wants to try this, change dmflags to 1160 and we can see how ppl will like it

edit: or better, make an announcement and party with this new settings and have a try

Ok some new things we maybe implend in the leugue fase. First of all each team can hve a max of 2 specs the rest can go watch via GTV, then when changing 1st you have to spectate then one can go in. And no way that you will reconnect thats outta the question. The 2nd the waiting is maybe a lil long maybe a max of 15 min is better. Mm then i think is better if everyone is ready to implent the /ready thing. So if everyone is ready the clock countsdown from 10 sc and we start. Mm thats it thx for the referee tonight.

i updated the chart thing, all demos, results, screenshots will be updated tomorrow evening .. also emails will be send tomorrow evening .. i leak on time cos of uni, tomorrow is last exam this month, so have some patience ..

rzr, if u check rules u see about the /ready thing .. things with * (star) infront will only be in the final league .. so why about the /ready thing?, cos lot's of polish clans don't talk english nor know how to do /ready (we tested it on some first matches and was disaster) .. so this comes in the final's ..

anyway, i'm out till monday evening .. and again, there are all demos of matches, so don't ask if we have them or not, we have them all .. they'll be available soon as well

np about refereeing today ..

as for first spec then next in, of course that's already in rules .. we give a warning if it happends for the first time, but as u saw today, if a clan do it twice, they lose a round .. it's really cheap to do /reconnect when u're frozen and wants other player to get in and we don't tolerate it ..

as for 15min max, we'll see, it happened for the first time, so if it will happen again, we'll think about it ..

about the 2 spec, others gtv .. lot's of clans are used to change a lot, so it would go for too long to reconnect from gtv to server i think .. for example WeeD has over 30 members, it's hard for them to make squds for every map or know who'll play in advence, especially if they would all be in gtv, so dunno .. also they don't even know who's in gtv nor if he saw when someone was calling him to come to server .. it's how we're used here on 1.31 ..

as for us referee's on server, as much as possible referee's come to the match, as one is recording demo and others are recording individuals .. so at the end we have demos of just some players we wanted to check and whole game which is publicly available ..

also players, don't try to play for other clans, as we save all ips from matches .. if u get cought u'll be banned from league ..

and play fair and pure ..

edit: to add, also rzr lot's of ppl also ask who's the gtv guy, what is he doing here .. so u can see what situation is here about gtv and stuff

hi problem is that the thing today wasnt forbidden.Morus wanted to change smyk but he was frozen and told morus he must wait.Morus then told smyk that he cant reconnect cause it it is a rule.King started to shout "HE IS TELLING HIM TO RECONNECT" and nobody saw that he reconnected AFTER gor get a point so he wasnt frozen then!The point is not i am mad or something i would not ven been mad if it will be accepted just wanted to tell the truth...we will see tomorrow when the 333 upload Love ya alL

He reconnected while we were playing, its not allowed to reconnect at all! And SW did it 2 times, first was a warning, after a warning its a punishment, its all in the there in the rules

the rules are there to be respected, just like we waited 20 mins for a player at the start of the match.

shur, i always recheck when deciding about anything .. it wasn't king why we did it .. i rechecked and he did the /reconnect .. also it's referee's decision .. why we don't tolerate this is, cos u get an alive player for an dead (frozen) one .. it's not fair and it's forbidden, at least in league .. elsewhere it's up to u how u'll play ..

 

also i went and checked the demos just for u

and shur, it's not nice to lie about it, as u can see what happend here ..
at first azu said "morus change with smyk" (1st line).. and also azu said to reconnect (10th line) .. it was his mistake .. as u can see he was railed by Tim (3rd line) before so he was frozen and i don't care about the red team scores, as he would do it anyway ..

also nothing is lost for SW even if they lose the next match as well .. check the charts ..

we should really try to play the league wars on 1.32 punkbusted...without valid cdkey, its so much better then 1.31
think about it

1.32 pb is a great idea, we can do this on the 5-League!

For the love of god, get your hands on a cd-key generator ( like it did ) and it will work - i guess.
