Hi all, ive discussed with marigold about doing a new 1.32 tournament but first we have to know how many clans would be in. Thx for answering and asking for clan i dont see on this forum.

yea i think this is what we really need in order for all of us to move to 1.32 so ... mostly we ll take old 333 league rules ... just a few change liek ... you ll see

well we could make it for just the 5 of us ... but then no qualifications part ... i doubt that will make more ppl move to 1.32 but at least it could be fun ... and maybe stop the obvious near death of our old sweet efreeze community ... i dunno but no matter what we ll do we HAVE to do something and soon ... first of all killing 1.31 would be nice ... so ppl have no other place to place than 1.32 ... but seems some server admins didnt get it ... hehehe that might be too complicate for some ppl brain to understand such easy thought ...

There are many great people with great ideas, and many nice players to play with. The problem comes from two interconnected facts:

• There are retarded people in this community (the ones still running 1.31 servers, for instance)


• There is no one to penalize these people and set rules/guidelines

 

As Marigold pointed out implicitely: As long as there will be 1.31 servers, some people will play 1.31 servers whom themselves will drag more people into 1.31 servers, thus destroying all the work done by many of you people here.

There are still many people who are not noobish but who do not see the point in moving to 1.32 servers, and/or who are too lazy to post on the 333 forums to get informations to make it work. Fortunately, when you ask these people why they're still on 1.31 and then accordingly help them to move to 1.32, they seem to play where there are (most) players but with a preference to 1.32.

I'm very sad to see some clan leaders are at the very least slowing the move to 1.32, and to say actual facts doing everything they can to prevent it. If a decision taken by the community is not respected by some clan leaders, how the hell can these people pretend and hope some respect from their members while themselves do not respect some other hierarchy?

 

Sorry to post a (whining/bitching) thread but seeing some people talking about 'death of the community' makes me sick.

 

well it all sounds pretty severe! psylle is talking about community's death. and others partly agree. is it really that bad? if it is - I'd rather go back to 1.31 before stop to play the game completely. but let me tell you that 1.31 is extremely noobish, only fraggin', no talk, no skill, cheaters... this sp1ral is always first. lol to that!

So any news on tournament ?? Let's do something about it .. let's get some ppl who can organize this and make it before christmas .. we mostly have all the rules and shit from previous ones, there just need to be some organizing going (dates/times/pw's) and maybe some spectating on matches .. we can use this forum for ladders and stuff as we did in previous ones .. or maybe a ladder like on ogl.org and we updated it on some page or something .. any volunteers?

lolz guys :P so zS is in for sure if there is any league / tourney / ladder on 1.32! zS|eXium has been talking about a tournament / ladder system he wants to do for some time already. hes the php coder but i think he still needs help with a few other things. btw this community needs a good server on 1.32 if we do any league. im not sure which hoster is best (#1CW server has ok pings & in my opinion best server settings .. maybe the fast railreload isnt so good but still i dont have a problem with it) so can that 1 be used for ladder games? austrian server is goin offline soon tho coz of many ping problems netdirekt.de had l8ly and maybe we will get another server instead. ping this:
