I put up some vsp stat for the chr public server here ( http://biohazard.moyse.net/vsp/pub/themes/bismarck/index.php ). Can other servers have it too ?

We're working for VSP stats for WeeD server as well.



BTW. I suggest to put index.php file with content like here:
http://weed.lag.in/vsp/index.txt in vsp dir so you could fire up stats using http://biohazard.moyse.net/vsp/ adress instead of the long one

yeah nice how often does it update? i played all afternoon with lots of frags, waiting for it to appear.

There is a very simple solution to that described in readme file:

- add: -l q3a-freeze option to count all the MOD_UNKNOWN Kill: events as THAW^
instead of TeamKill for Freeze Tag and other such variants.^

So all you have to use is '-l q3a-freeze' instead od '-l q3a' during update/first installation. Of course a person who manage the stats should reset it first (php vsp.php -a clear_db) and then rebuild using games.log and new q3a-freeze settings to make it fair.




Too bad that problably it won't be used by anyone, just like my previous idea to make stats adress shorter

There is a thing called skill in there. It depends on how many people you fragged/freezed and how many times you died. By default stats are sorted by skill. Evol died more times than None and even if None killed less people he is more efficient so he's first

Yeah the reason why i have quite a few deaths is cos i play 1v1 on this server and i suck at 1v1 got killed lots of times. =]

You can cheat stats by entering server with name you never used before. You can't change your nick during the game cause stats will notice that

can't the stats are generated out of the server logs, so if you change your name the log will change to that name to (blabla has railed blabla) . so onley way not to let bad playing spoil your stats is to not play under that name.


stats are fun but still i think its more usefull in 1 vs 1 as on public team play servers cos imo when playing in a team its not about how many players you shoot or how many times you die its about winning as a team and stats dont say how well your teamplay is. and i dont know if its solved yet but last time i looked stats did not count taws (witch should not be that hard to make i think)

again I have to agree with Rebtor!

The Mod is a TeamMod - people have totally forgotten that in 1.31 - no-one, not anyone cared about winning as team but only about his/her score! In 1.32 however, I feel more playing as a team, the times I played so far. And it's far more fun!

I think stats are a funny idea, but they should not ruin the gameplay/teamplay as it is a teamMod! And thaws should be VERY included, as I am thawmaster!

WTF!! Ben doesnt have the gaunt award! i bet he ll have it soon.

Oh and btw, Chongo got the telefrag award....honestly i was pisssing my pants for 10 minutes =')) aaaaaah i <3 this game.

just wanted to add, i just found out that you can klick on the players and see more interesting stuff about him/her, cause everyone on the list has a "personal page"! boah i love this stats thingy, and I am just a little proud of 7th place at the moment (my god, what must evol and 333fendr feel in this second)
