there will be a new clan called !222! it will be part of the 333 site but its for people that are at the stage were they are getting good enugh 2 be in a clan and hope one day to join 333 me and mohawk will be looking around the 333 servers for people that we think are becoming good enugh then we will ask u to just have a game with while the other spectates and see were you falts are and try to make u better giving u pointers the other person will fighting againts you in 333server 1or2 and then we will see what we think of you we think of you

what does any one think of my idear

Hmmm mixed feelings on this:

The idea is most deffinately there, but a problem that occurs alot is the different styles people have...Example:
Stema = Pimp style moves and tactics...
Hitman = destroys everything in path...
Warnell = unlimited creation of destruction and tactics...

3 people who play completely different but the same at the same time...only because of crazy styles

so giving advice becomes hard, as it most often draw players away from their natural playing style and will mess them up...

but deffo idea is there and is a nice thought

Well man...true..it's better that u come up with your own style and analise the situation where u find yourself and what can u do...and of course play hard!

hmmm.. well it its kinda a good idea the whole spectating thing, but really you cant really tell someone what their faults are they have to figure them out for themselves.. i mean.. i have watched the best play, i have played some really really good people but watching demos doesn't help me much..

 

it does help a little, it gives you new ideas but when it all comes down to it, "it" is just how well you can move your mouse, that is all, it is all how well you can put the crosshair on the player and click the mouse and no matter what anyone else says they cant help you with that..

 

just like, i can sit in class all day to learn how to be a doctor, but can i go to the operating room and operate, nope.. its all practice and talent, but mostly practice..

idd problems but when you think about it..anything good has a backlash to it...so play on!

By watching demos of another clans clanwar, you can steal or change their strategy to use it yourself.

haha, no clan ever has one single strategy, they change every game every map.  and it changes with in the map a strategy changes every few minutes it never stays the same, expecially if the other team is beating you they you change it again and again until you find something that works for that map for that game

Practice is important for sure, i think the more u play the better u get, so no argues about it.

But i think spectating is important as well: ther r so many aspects that let u spot an experienced players from a beginner...and this is not just about ping/reaction time/aim etc... this is called "clever play", "tactics" or just "experence" (i sometimes call it "lame play" too ), as u prefer. There r so many tricks u can learn just spectating. U can learn something for u but u can also learn  some habits of players that can help u to frag them. I love spectating, and i think i learnt a lot doing that.

Just spectate our best scorer Warnell: ok the perfect aim, but great part of his power derives from the way he faces the opponent, the way he hides himself...how many time u said :fragged by warnell?? i didnt even see him!!

In few words: spectate ppl, u will watch many different ways of playing and u will be able to find the one which best suit on u

but overall your aim is the whole key to the game, I have seen the biggest noobies ever join a server, barely knowing how to play quake, and they play with an aimbot and omg they kill everyone... it doesn't matter how they hide or how they move because as long as they hit their shots, they keep getting points

 

but yes.. watching demos "if you have no life like me" does help your game, i have watched a ton of zero4, fat, and people like that who are gods at quake.. i watched how they played... but when it comes down to it, they can all hit really good low angle shots, you know, the ones that you can bearly see the player, and they predict really well.  they all know exactly where the other player is on the map at any given time.

I can only say I agree to Warnell & Stema !! there is a saying "Watch and learn"  I try to live by it

222 is not a real clan - it is a group that helps people to train up to be good enough to get into clans...

idd there are many pros and cons - but it has been discussed and everything has pros and cons...

dont understand ur thing with blackmailing tbh...i thought it meant when you use a piece of information against some1 to make them do what you want....

First a think every new clan in the scene is to be appreciated!! Second i think they started with a great will: to get better together, to train team play, and who knows maybe one day go to another clan or why not kickass with 222 tag! do u see it so different from all the rest of clans? i dont. And third...they r our "little" brothers!! they r a sort of affiliate clan:i told them if they'll get enaugh in number we will train together and we will share the site: i find it a great idea, no?

Yes i think that it will ruin 333's reputation...i mean all of this that have been written on the topic will not work and if it doesnt exeed then dont say i didnt warn you. I mean i have seen 222 ask many players to join and even me and i said no...i wanted to join before but people say bad things about 222 and now i do so i dont want to be in a clan that many ppl dont like...i wanted to be in the clan when the oppertunity came up i said no because of those ppl and i hae seen may ppl say no to 222 like daaywalker and zol7i. I dont want to be in a clan everybody h8's alsol. Even i was asked and the day before i quited the clan i was leader of to join 222 but in the end i said no and eventually i ended up HuN...that was only a couple of  days ago!!!!!!

well, that's exactly why as soon as i knew there was a 333 i wanted to create the 000 !

Tbh I've seen things like this is past, add-ons to clans. I've watched and learnt what happens - mostly the original clan gets less of a good reputation. In a way ruined. I wasn't too keen on the idea of
!222! as I didn't want the same to happen to !333!, but didn't say it. As wanted to see if it would happen here (This community has more of a 'personality' to it than other communities) and it hasn't seemed to have that effect. Unfortunately I think adding on another clan becomes....Tacky, in way as too many just using that idea of the original.
If you wanted a ridiculous clan couldn't you call it something absolutely off the walls? Something that'd make people go 'w00t' as soon as they saw it.  

So in overal advise/oppinion is to not make another clan using the
!333! idea, try to make something crazy and k00ki. Also yes Missy is essential if you want the overal essence of ridiculousness

Well, first of all i want to confirm that there r no ideas, in 333, of having more than one affiliated clan. This doeasnt mean u cannot create the clan u prefer (-111,000,nnn or whatever your immagination can produce!), it just means that for now we r happy and busy with just 222 (which i believe its growing good and skilled, and im very glad for that).

I add that i dont think that 111 is a noob clan, neither any other with a similar name as ours.Hey war, why dont u try to join 222, instead creating a new clan ex novo?

Second, i absolutelly disagree with cheetos: i dont think any affiliate clan can ruin the main clan at all! I think it can be just a good thing for both to imporve, and for the community  having a new clan growing fast helped by a more experienced one (if we can call 333 "experienced"" lol). And i thnk that what 222 r creating is very nice and perfectly managed, so all my congrats for your work!

If u play just for fun, and i think this community understood very well this concept, how could a clan ruin another one?i really cant understand! I feel a very good general mood on the eu freeze scene and this is why i always like to have some chat evenif not playing on the servers, and i think this is why we have pretty mucch players even from usa here too.

Finally, about the "crazy clan", well i think it would be a good idea, no matter the name u'll get; jsut one thing: i think we have so many crazy guys, me icluded!, with and without a clan, that this will be the most crowded clan ever!

Personally have never said these are noob clans, but have suggested that too many add-ons are weird


I said what I have seen in the past, there was a clan called Z#D for example - none of you probably know it but it was able to beat div2 clans in clanbase no problem.
Alot of enteries were received everyday to try and get into it. As they only wanted extremely good players they decided making another clan for people to join and train up to get into Z#D. This was also getting alot of applies, but in the community it started to buzz that any noob could get in (wasn't true you still had to be skilled to get into even this)  and the entries slowly withered to 4 a month..Members started leaving as they were now being branded noobs by the community they played in. Thus, Z#D had to accept the lesser-skilled members and couldn't beat div4 clans. So the leader, regretfully, had to close Z#D

I understand that what you're trying to do with 333 is nurture the newer clans to become something of great skill, but it can happen and it has happened. Alot.

i always like to see new clans been made up the only problem is i never see many new clans making it big the only two i have seen was PRO-DEAD& !222! PRO was a nice clan shame it is no more and i think i am been a bit big headed about saying that 222 have made it big i am not just saying it because i am the leader but be cause when i go to gt turbo i normaly see some one form 222 witch i am realy proud of good luck with the crazy clan

lol in my 2 years of playing i have been in many quake 3 clans from different mods but freeze is the best

i have also been in many clans and i love freeze...i can name em all but it wud take all day but 222 has been the best...i have 2 m8s from my former clans and i enjoy being here wit em...and if u r wondering y i have not been able to play much i have been busy sry guys but i will play time 2 time

this has been gr8 and so has freeze community but i think 111 is far but it is my opinion and i am stupid so gl 4 !111! and hf it will be hard i have made clans of my own and only 1 lasted quite long and that was in insta unlagged ctf so it is hard but goood luck

Damn straight!!

personally was in alot of clans in all mods aswell -- mainly ctf but meh -- was in a div3 clan for a while, then quit quake for 8months so left it darn (its firm div2 now)

meh i wont go on in quake im old k00t compared to most/all of ya'll

 222 has been the best

well, i have got War if he want a clan, myself, and i am waiting the answer of Hitman and stema ....

I agree that will be only weaks players but soon there will be more good players coming back. Also i have to admit that it is pretty hard to create a q3 clan without playing q3, but i don't worry because that will be solved in less than 2 weeks. .

And maybe we could even have specials guesses in HFC. Even i am thinking in changing the name for HFC-MFC-SFC-WFC, but that will be a bit long to play q3 after....

 

nice 2 see a new clan been made up your clan will get bigger and stronger in time dont give up as i think u will go far

if we join 1.32 will the bots come there or is it harder for them to cheat

its possible for them to cheat...for like a week...then pb team updates and bans their asses...

so in reality..no u r very unlikely to see a bot in 1.32...altho it is possible...

But 1.32 is a bit of a strange place compared to the humble freeze scene here.....if u wanna start playing there id recommend u get the all seeing eye (just .com added on to the name
then u can find more servers..

i dont like 1.32 mutch my self its very diffrent now i just cant wait for the bots to be baned

ermm i think that weed will not take any more players atm, as we have to meany and me and assault are trying to sort the whole team in to 3 little teams so there will not be probelms. last 2 Cw we had we had to meany players and some did not get to play, but soon they will all have there own team leaders and and each team will be able to make their own cw, but we are still working it out who going to what team

as for the Cw i had fun to, K&D have gotton better with the infusion of new blood u guys got, weed has played k&d 2 times b4 and both times we have won, i would not say they where easy wins but at that time K&D did not have as much exprience as us and tranning was needed, but now u guys are arsome and u really showd us ( well me at least) what can happen if u train as a team and work togeather so GG K&D but we will have our revange one day!!!!

yes i had mutch fun in the war even if i only played the last map and i was soo happy i shot all of the clan for the last point my had to w8 1/2hr for my head to deflate i had a very big head after i did the clan over geuss the force was with me for that little while keeps coming back to me as well from time to time me and satan are the new blood in kd also wario but he was not at the war also we got 4 uk members they rock

the best thing about the weed war was  

my scrren shot lol

but train and good luck with your clan your not all bad

we trained and rematched moq and owned them but they still cant face facts still they have not edited there site saying kd won them if they ever ask for a clan war m8 say no they lame
