Hi everybody,


Several weeks ago, when I started to play efreeze, I asked one of your team members (abz if I remember well) where to ask for 333 recruitment.

He told me to look for the clan's forum, so here I am =)



Some of you already know me as -?-*PsYcO*, I usually play on DFT or weed 1.31 servers.



Let me introduce myself, that will probably help you deciding if I should or shouldn’t join the 333 clan.



First of all, my real life:



I’m a 22 years old French student, I’m currently living in Paris and I’m about to complete my computer engineering studies.



My quake life:



I was playing q3a on 1.30 for years in the noidea clan (-?- tag)
then stopped playing when 1.30 servers became even more a lamer/cheater land. Then, after few years of inactivity, I've recently started to play again on efreeze 1.31.



For the record, I already know two of your clan members for years.
Ben who is one of my good irl friends and school mate, and David (psylle) who was part of the noidea team.
I hope that they will back up my candidature =)



Concerning my skills, I not good as I was before quitting 1.30 but I hope I'll recover it soon.



Finally, I'll conclude saying that I want to join 333 clan first because I want to be part of a group, then because I think I suit the clan spirit : "Have fun before Have win"

Yep, I got fed up waiting for 333 answer so I joined XT which is, from my point of view, at least as cool as the 333 clan.

I won't hide that 333 deceived me taking so long to come up with a decision. I would have prefer a "no" than no answer at all

deceived wrong word there, more like distracted/didn't finish up




because of the amount of people that need to give someone a thumbs up or thumbs down that alone takes time... then you get something else come up and then the candidate gets pushed to the back.. then when its brought back up we have to get peoples opinion again as chances are things have changed a lot (people can suddenly be inactive/can be in other clans etc etc)



overall it was not getting to the last bit to finish up and throw out an answer

I know that has nothing to do with me, but still, i'm a little sad. but don't worry, I'll get my payback on clanwars

 

If I may intervene, I believe Psyco meant disappointed which in french is "Décevoir" hence the confusion with Deceive, from deception, which would be translated to "duperie" in french, didn't you Psyco?

let me say smth. too here:

- psycho, we (i speak for 333 here) are all sorry it took so long, but it is just like cheee said on the page before, we're a bit slow because we have many people who form the decisions.

- We congratulate you for the XT membership! What i have seen so far, they are real sportsmans and nice people (and i love their server) gauntshot rocks still guys, get that rotation workin'

- to finish: just as an example - i candidated 1 whole year for 333 - i was clanless this long time because 333 was the only clan i wanted to join! so you see... you have not waited too long!

Yea, many of us dont know you well, and therefor cant know if youll stay in the clan or stop q3 soon or keep your connection or moving flat etc etc.

Well, for my part i know, you still wear the no-idea clan tag after all these years and you cant live without www =D

Anyway, XT is a great clan and im happy you found a good clan like that.

About XT rotation, please, if you use /rcon map mapname please prefer that 1: /rcon vstr m1 (or m2 m3....m20 the one which match with your map in the rotation script that you can find in your server cfg and maybe (if you use it) in the default efreeze cfg folder: server.cfg).
