not sure if this is or had effected any of you but theres gona be a smoking ban in the uk from all public places in 2007 i belive

just wondering what all you guys think

im for it my self used to work in a pub my self and allways cames home stinking of smoke

they did that in New York State about 2 years ago, its still in effect, but it has links to causeing many businesses going out of businesses because people cannot smoke there anymore

i hate smoking and hate it when people smoke arouond me

not true about that fresh water! I saw an article about some1 who died after drinking to much (fresh) water!

i dont like people who smoke aswell. Well people who smoke can be ok people but smoking around others is a bad thing. I think that it is a good thing that this ban is going to take place.

It's like that in holland already no? Can't smoke in trains, public buildings and so on. It's a good thing and i've not seen anyone complain about it, the smokers still have their smoking places and they can still smoke their brains out at home =).

Hehe I quit smoking just a week ago lol. 1,5 euro per day + bad condition + stinky clothes... Not the best deal so I quit

if it s forbidden in public space that s a really GOOOD thing i can t  bear beeing in a restrant and smell someone smoke while i m eating !  and i say that as a smoker (a big one ...) anyway smoking cigarrettes isn t good for health (especially with what they add into it) everyone is free to smoke but they don t  have to bother the others with it so ... that s really a good thing

Anywayz... smoking stinks (in more than 1 way) so im glad they did it in holland.

Lyor, in Holland is different. It's just prohibited in public buildings, trains and schools etc. But its allowed in pubs and coffee's.. I think (but correct me if i'm wrong) that in the UK people can't even smoke in pubs anymore..

But I hate the smell of smokers, so can't complain..

can some1 tell me what are the benefits of smoking (cigarettes)

expensive, bad health, addiction, smells bad, get burned by other people cigarettes (happened to me many times when i go out ) and so on.................................

just found out that no one will be able to smoke at work neather and im a landscaper so i work out side and so do my work m8s but they wont be able to smoke even out side
