hey all

i just got a new mouse and she rules have a look

soady
mx1000 ^^

got this from a long while back - gd mouse :D

(will prolly buy myself a new 'gaming' mouse they got out soon
to test those out)

ahah the mx900 rocks the socks of them but nice mouse all the same them new gaming mice may be woth a look at liked the way it charges one battry as u use the other and they say its a quick change as well mx1000 is good but it lacks bluetooth witch is wat needed as well :D

the mx1000 also makes your hand more upgight well it did mine any way it got used to it fast though :D

how mutch did u pay and were from may i ask

meh bluetooth is pointless to me  (for a mouse anyway)

and ye it does arc your hand but i prefer it...more control imo

i got it when it very first came out...so £70
(now i see its from £38-£55)

pls suggest me a good optical mouse with a good amount of dpi but not so complicated as the one butt showed here... i mean a simpler one. I actually love the simplest microsoft mouse, i find it so ergonomic and ready-to-go, but indeed it sucks a bit as resolution.

I think 30-40 euro is the max i can afford (and mannn 40 euros for a mouse is a lot!!)

PS: i dont like the onse with 100 buttons!!

ty, ciao

hey all

ok first i paied £50 for it i know that sound expencive, but i think that it was worth it,

second i got it in Oxfords street, at a shop called mcdonnad, ( no not the fast food place, just the same name) it was priced at 59.99, but i got the guy in the shop to lower the price, he tried the hard sell on me, but that is what i do a for living so it did not work and he broke down and lowered the price,

third this is not an optical mouse as such, optical mices use light reflecting of somthing, and when the light path is distroied it register the movment, the mouse that i am using work in the same way but it use a Lazer, so it is much more prcise in it's reading, and less likey to course errrs if there is any dirt on the mouse pad,

forth StemY if u want a really good mouse that is at an ok price then go to this site http://www.razerzone.com/

there u will find good gamming mices that are made by profreshinal gamers, some are expencive other not, if u want a cheap mouse and not that gr8 the logitech mx518 will do u just fine, it a wired mouse with about 1000 dpi and not meany buttons, should cost no more than about £35 here is an inamge
dont ask me why it has the dents but it an ok mouse with small amout of buttons, hope this helps

i got the mouse that i did because i dont only play games but i do other things that need a good mouse with good ACCU, i am also planning to get back to using photoshop and this mouse will help that but that for the futcher

soady

same mouse as skunks got nice mouse same as mine in shape but that ones lighter and i like the look of the dents lol

any way the dents are not real they just make it looke like it is dented its got a paste button near the top and scrole buttons u got the normal wheel and 2 other buttons that u just hold and they do the scroling for u when u got lazy fingers :D and i belive its got 2 other buttons on the other side were your thumb goes they are for going forwards in internet pages and back real nice mouse and well prised and got a nice make so u can flast it off to your m8s :D

about photoshop - it does help if u do detailed brushing/cropping
was much easier for me to use rather than the mx700

and to stem - the site soady gave is gd idd, or just browse some cheap-ish logitech mice (mx550 *or whatever its called >.<*  is nice)
thats mine:

no scroll, just how i like it
i have a MX510 (the blue one) for me it is better as a MX1000 athough that one is more presise, if it had a tail i would probs liked it but i dont like wireless mices because they are heavy, you tent to lose them in your junk at your desk, and they are always empty if you need them most.
yoyo

i dont really find the mouse that heavy, i like the way it feel and it has a meater on the side that show me if it running low on power, so i can just charge it, battereys it has a good nickal cadium so they will last a long time also charge quick, i was not to happy at first about going wireless, but i do remember spending lots of time ajusting my mouse cable so now i dont have that worrie. only had it for 2 days now and not used it much, i can not own in quake like i used to, but i am getting used to it, and testing different sentivitys with it till i find one that is more like what i had b4,

bah! :p

wireless weight for me is perfect...im very aggressive with it so a light wired mouse is just no good..ill spin right off them...wireless i move a perfect amount

(and tbh theyre not that much heavier)

and mx1000 has extraordinary battery life m8....ive used it in a 16hour session before and np...(yes it was a boring day) i still had
high power...
also u dont lose it if u leave it in ur charge at night ^^

even if they could go for 24 or 48 hours i will still forget to put in the charger, and by doing so it would last say instaid of a full loaded 16 hours 10 or so, well during weekends my pc is on mutch and mutch longer active. so at the evening i will run out of battaries.

i saw this mice i used it and its great with the many buttons and stuff and ajustable sencitivity but its realy mutch more heavy and i dont mind a cable on my desk my keybord as one already so one more or less whats the difference. and with that i cant trow him off my desk true the room if i'm pissed, i cant lose it in the junk that is on my desk and as long as my pc works my mice works, so all together i like this tail.

i see mind is made up but i wanna add a quick lil something:

mx1000 has a feature of inactivity...so ur long sessions of not using it are fine...it will go into 'sleep' after 10 secs of inactivity...using very little/no battery

ahh nice mouse u suggested me marigold! :)

im surprised u think a 30-40 euros mouse is cheap!!! its just a mouse!!!!

anyway id like to try some logitech mx-XXXX (cos everyone's speaking about them) but a wired one (dont want useless things into my mouse such as batteries of radio chips) and with just a scrolling wheel and no many buttons.

The site u gave me, butt, seems too much professional for me... and there r so many "fascion mouses" with useless things on it (come on , doeas a light on my mouse improve my mpuse moving? lol)...

lyor told me the mouse he got recently but i forgot the model name? do u know wich one he is using?

ciao, stema

lyor uses mx510 i think?

(the damn one i can never remember name of - begins with 5 :p)
lyor still uses still a laptec mouse i think.

this one to be precise

http://www.compmarkt.de/catalog/images/pic/1056.jpg

he bought it after he played with it at my place, mine broke down after 3 years and i bought a MX510, but i still might be like it more as the MX510. simply because its verry precise, realy light (all plastic, and mabey the lighst most precise mouse i have ever used.) that mouse is way faster as a mx510 and it has onley 3 bottons and a scrolweel (2 normal buttons and pressing the mouseweel)

not supprising chee they change the number behind the 5 every now and then, most have just a 510 those are the early most sold models, but the 500 and 516 and 530 are less sold but actualy the same mouse with a other name.
I got a mx510, bought it for my birthday last year, so i have it exactly 1 year and 10 days now. Then it was 35 euro's and it was the time the mx518 came out (1600 dpi). In my oppinion it's all you need for quake, thinking this mouse wasn't even around when the pro's played quake actively in lans, they played with less dpi i am guessing (this is 800), so you definitly don't really need something like the logitech G5 with 2000 dpi unless got the money and think it'll be worth it :). I gave that laptec 5 euro mouse to stijn, never had it myself but it would have been an improvement compaired to my old one, but now i can't play with it anymore, could be bc the wire is too short @ stijn x). Oh but the mx510 does have a lot of buttons stema, I only use them all when surfing the web, for quake I only used the 2 buttons on top (not even the scroll wheel).
yea i got a mx510 and a mx500.. i haven't really got to test the 510 yet, but i am looking at the G5 now.. looks nice
well ones thing for sure we are all saying this buy logitech  its up 2 you what mouse u get need to feel it in your hand and what its main use is gona be just go in what ever your local pc shop is called and test a few out :D
dont buy the pilot series of logitec they suck, cos there buttons are gona brake down and have a thick ege so if you got big hands you cant push the buttons.

mmhh yeah, the mx510 is what ny bro had for 2 years (he broke it recently) and he said he felt it perfect...evenif i saw it huge and heavy!! but maybe its just cos im used to standard microsoft mouse (wich i find it the best product of microsoft ever!!).

i saw it on kelkoo at 50 euros...boh, maybe for christmas i will give me this present! :)

rnt u scared that with my new mouse i will kick all your asses? :P

ciao :)

Don't buy it for 50, I bought it for 35 1 year ago! Search better, I'm sure you can get it for less than 30.
