when do u think q3 was better 1 year ago 2 year ago or now

i persanaly think it was better 1/2 a year a go as i could own peps and i was just begining to get to know more peeps of q3 and for them to know me

now i just get owned and get lame scores and thowsteels are wores than ever now dont think peeps knew how to thow steel bac in the day

Definitly better when i started (1 year ago), being noob ownz - i was looking up to people and i was nothing but noobness dust myself, the competition was everywhere a lot and it felth way better. Now i'm bored and annoyed by all those people who add me to msn and want to know all about me just because i have good scores with quake, the beginning of the loonies was the best time in quake there was for me - with the top best time, the 333 clanwar.

2001 = everyone knew everyone..it was nice community and i was learning fast...(on a dial-up modem )

2002 = peeps started moving around, but still a nice community - tough against lamers etc..was my true owning period

i remeber when i started freeze about 1 year ago i was been called a noob all the way threw a match my team were saying stuff like teams are unfare it might as well be 2v3 madjak is a noob he is shit and so on

then the game came to somthing like 9-9 10 was the limit and all my team were dead then i owned 3 peeps and they were like w0w the noob saved us well done maby your not so bad

then i saw stema play OMG i kinda got obsets over him he was so good got talking to him got to know him better when we talked on our microphones then he wanted me to make 222 i sead no joined PRO then that died and i came runing back to stema made 222 witht the help of wario he owned big style and was my best q3 m8 then one day i came in q3 he was on the top of score list and i was on bottom some one sead is that noob madjak in 222 that got me angry so i diced to play a lot more then i we got thinking of geting some members in the clan kill*mee was there he was not the best player ever but omg after about 3 weeks of q3 he started to own big style now he stoped he is just normal then i think i got dunpeal in the clan he was probs the wores person i got in the clan but he was so nice he sweet taled his way in and he began owning after he was in the 222 team we were getting stronger all the time then stema sead i should be more selective over the peeps i let in 222 as all stema saw was dunpeal asking if he could now join and i sead yes but he had been asking for about 1 or 2 weeks to join then more and more peeps got there way in 222 was so nice then started to get asked for cw with peeps souned to hard to have a cw get all the details sorted so i left it for a long time then we had a war with FAK 3-2 ok they had a cheater with them but still best war i have ever had all of the team showed up and we tryed out hardes to win but no luck still no tactics and peeps had started to leave the clan or come inactive so i left cw for a long time then i got started on them again cxz i thin the clan was called that we had a war agains after fak i got to start knowing a player claned satan he was always my rival he always sead hi to me then he started getting better scores than me so i got angry and waned a war with the clan he was in xcz vs 222 unluck for us we also lost again but after that xcz died of and satan was clanless i asked him as soon i saw this and he was in prity mutch after our team was getting stronger we were no longer the clan that was a cheep vertion of 333 but a clan that all knew were good peeps and we stared wining cw then i left q3 for about a month tryed some new games out on my new gfx card but nothing can compare to q3 so i came back satan was in tor and so was smiley both ex members of 222 so im still trying to get in with them things are looking up for me but talked to dutch duck and im kinda scared now of the try out

sorry for missing a big cunk out there of what happend in 222 and sorry for not saying anything about stezzz person who got 222 back on its feet

bac in the day they were more maps in freeze im sure of it u could get a score of 59 and the match would be only 1/2 way threw now matches are over in less than 10 min some times just not mutch of a chalange any more now more peeps are getting 25-30 in 5 min if u did this 1/2 a year a go u would be named a cheater maby we are getting faster or maby we should bring back the old maps

i feel sorry for the new peeps who join now they have missed the golden ages god knows what is gona be like this year with the speed of the players

sorry for writing so mutch just 333 server im geting owed in by peeps i dont know and hod server is full to the rim

nice story jak but i dont agree on you that a half year ago ware the glorie day's of freeze. i think the best times where at the beginning of this community wile HMF was still big and WOD was still a clan to look up to with stema and shorty. it was a small community back then everyone knew anyone weekly clanwars on stema's lagging server. everyone asked about every hour to stema to restart the server cos it was so laggy. but stema played mutch more back then everyone did. then XP was created i joined that. the fight around stema leaving WoD and the war between shorty and stema man miss the old days. before that i think the best day's of quake where the years before i did not play it on internet so mutch but on every lan where you came it was played quake was THE game back then.

Is the same..i always like this damn game

true kose its not the game that changes (well in 8 days its gonna change) but it are the people.

most highly anticipated 8days in freeze for a long while?

i was near the artch room at the back to the steps were at the other side of me i saw some happy little quaker come runing up the ram/steps he was going over the speed limit so i stoped him B4 he could hurn any one 1 fatal shot to the back just as he was going round the corner after that shot as it was quite a nice shot i heared lines like

so i have been called a cheater for the fisrt time in q3 and by some one that meant it

brolly was my victim and i hope to get some unreal shots on him again loved been called a cheater

 

hmm, i feel very bad with the current situations. Very few new clans, fight between server admin because of mod, hod must do all servers ..., ppl say fucker to hod but play on our servers, we loose every clanwar because our team is bored of quake, hours of discoussions about cheaters... yes the old days, WoD and the clanlessnoobytime . it was some kind of magic if i started the quake, searching for the [RuS]Freeze Server or the nice [EMS]New Server3.... i didnt realised really what ppl talekd about during this time, i needed 3 weeks to find out how to chat and mor then a month how to grapple (How you make that white thing?) and unfreeze lol.. i thought i must use guntlet xD

Then quake became sirious, i joined WoD clan and became coleader after one week (!!) this was theday i think all changed... some kind of responsibility came to me... i had to organise clanwars and new members. in this time i used the chat tool very often, and played very less.
Then WoD died first time, i was clanless one minute and joined TsW , the stinky wallnutz xD ...
there i meet rayen, he left tsw and we made a new clan called HoD (i think you know ...) i started the clan being a coleader and we fast tried to make Hod the biggest clan . I think the beginning in hod was very nice too, first well organised wars, very good teamplay and nice new friends everyday.
Then hod get a server . first it was a home server with 5 laggy slots, but it worked. But no chance to beat stemas 24 slot server. Then i buyed the first pay server with 8 slots and password. Now hod became interesting. all wanted to join us.
because of the grown up, i buyed more servers. i think it was mistake......


During this time 333 was born, and made this nice community. but i must say, i never feel and felt part of it. Its a little bit strange here for me , no way why. I think because i a m the only hod registered here, and hod is my family.

hmmmmm, if u think about those things you become a bit sad.

First of all, let me give you some advice.. stop dreaming about good old days and start thinking about better tomorrows.. acting like an elder squaw in the teepee and telling stories about how people were nice na sky was blue won't help you.. I used to do that too and it's not that long ago.. but I learned it's pointless

As for the Jakie's trouble with finding a clan.. well, my opinion is that you should reconsider the reasons why would you want to join any of these clans.. is it because you hate being clanless? That's the worst impulse ever and you'd rather get rid of it.. choose a clan, where people will know you and you will know them, where you will be part of something bigger that just fragging.. I really don't mean to offend anyone but clans like poT or EMP will not last for long, even tho they're crowded with very skilled players.. if q3 was only about being good at scores, it would be unbearably boring

And Poison, uhm.. my friend, it seems to me that you're a very pesimistic person.. don't feel sad because of people who haven't even reached 15 years of age.. as you can see here, many people love you and it's really not just because of your servers but because of you..

I think admins should care more about their servers and players should care more about their server's admins. Enlarge the number of people, who possess recon. Start banning campers and rude people.. forget about second chance and being good and patient to those, who deserve being kicked in their ass. Consider sending a bit of your spare money to Poison and Stemy so that they have no problems with keeping the servers up.. etc. etc. etc.

anyway, if i had to remember my personal quake old story...lol i could write a whole book! so many ppl passed through my eyes, so many _nice ppl_ i would underline!

I prefer to agree with cathy, cos i dont think now is worse than in the past: probably now is the best period for 1.31 freeze europe, cos we have many players, a really nice, polite, friendly and united community: try to go to other server and u will see the difference, ppl insulting, no one that greeet eachother etc; and more, even new guys approaching our community discovered how united and different we r. The average level of all players has strongly increased and this is a great result for the community. Plus, we found energies (go none go) to code a new freeze mod!!!! If i think when we had no server nor community at all...well we can only be happy! no?

the reson i am thinking of going to the clans i sead is that they are some of the clans that have a sed me to join others asked me and i just piced the nices clans out eg the peeps i know

I luv the good old times of hmf, ack (with dragoon etc), tech, oni, ems, gawd..
all those clan where active .. There was no stuff like: USA servers, and EU servers.. nono.. 1 big community even there weren't much cheaters!

only time will tell about whos a cheater and who is not :P

Well, I don't need time to be sure that Angelus ( who's been recently using so much unconspicious nickname 'lol' and saying lol anytime he got shot to make sure we all know he's so cool when he knows this word..  ) cheats with his impossible shots, impossible reactions and score which is usually higher than the rest of 'his' team has..

And btw Dutchie, ONI is still active.. and we're doing our best to keep it that way

angelus is a good insta fighter.. as far as i know he doesnt cheats

angelus i think he is good i did not see cheating when hes name was angelus but im a noob for seeing cheats this lol guy i think cheats as he nevrs says any thing apart from lol realy cant be all there in the head
