hi all i got thinking deep lat night about q3 legues and here is what i came up with hope u like

 hi all i came up with a idear about legues as we all know the legues sucked so i came up witht the idear of making i new kinda legue this time it cant die ok so my idea 

eg.

if there was gona be a war with k&d Vs ToR on of the clans would let us know there was gona be a war just type it on the 333 site were its spetaly made so u can just say who u are gona have a war with and stuff then after the war they tell us who won send in screen shots and depending on what the score was they could get so many points

       clan    pole   matches   total scores  last match next match

1. kd      1st   3              56              tor            333


2. tor     2nd   3              45              kd            : )*

so they could get 1 point for eatch match they won and maby get a man of the match if its posable to see who got the most thows and shooting

i think this could work if we all helped a little but we also need to get the word out about it i sugest putting it on the nrxt news update or even sending it to all who have sined up to the 333 site

so theres my idear please tell me what u think  of it or maby if u dont under stand me

seems fine to me amigo- but how to decide who vs who...if clans could decide then it could be like:
a very strong clan vs a not so strong clan

time and time again - making it easy to get points

without punkbuster there is no way to have a decent league, we can not check eachothers GUID's so we can't be sure who is who. For the rest, we need a registration page (www.worldogl.com), this shows which players are in the competing clans, so that no clans recruit a player at the last moment before the clanwar, which usually is a unknown player with another name and another clan. Now, we can't be sure of this because we can't be sure of anything without punkbuster. The clanwars who are not registered should be seen as scrims, and no real clanwars, if you do these you gotto decide it together and not say that you won in the end of the game, it would be a good way that the looser registers their loss at this certain page and not the winner, this would solve that problem probably. It actually is very hard to find someone with the skill to make such a website: www.ogl.org --> ladders --> quake III --> insta freeze, so if we decide to actually make a league, it would never be as rock solid. In my opinion leagues are impossible on 1.31, they are unorganisable.

dude u speak like we dont know each other lol

this is a tight community - we know who is who without needing guids..
if something is wrong with members we can have refs etc..

idd with the cw thing - only the ones registered...if there's a prob like someone puts in the results wrong then a complaint system would be needed..meh

lyor, rock solid even with punkbuster you can cheat. also how would punkbuster check if someone is realy the one we think he is. true IP's? well 50 % of our community has a dinamic IP so even ip is not a good way to check it. sorry lyor punkbuster doesn't help a thing it makes cheating harder but not impossible. (changing names is cheating for me)

you have a command to check the GUID as i said, checking the IP doesn't make sense, checking GUID does. You will have to buy quake again if your guid is banned, you can just spoof your ip if your ip is banned.

ah and chee, i don't know everyone as good, especially the polish clans are not really active in the community and do want to compete in a league.

ow yeah the guide was bound to something 90% of this commmunity does not have your cd key!!

well i think this should be easy to set up and thanks for all your replys i think maby if we have to have 10 cw b4 u can fight the same clan again or hmmmmmmmmm maby u have ti fight some clan that we choose after 10 matches

Man Lyor, please nooo, not polish clans.. there are a few exceptions but I can honestly say I dislike 95% of polish clans / players.. no other nation has so incredibly high concentration of 'weird' ppl.,  guys who are able to keep spamming the chatbox with 'kurwa ty huju zajebisty' message for 10 minutes and other stuff like camping in the lava or blocking player slots for 10+ maps ( like 6+ polish guys spectating, chatting about other games or simply talking shit.. )

Not mentioning clans like GG and other which actually 'train' how to thawsteal and piss others off

 

eh, you don't need a cd key if you don't have punkbuster to check a GUID, that's my whole point, you can never be certain. Ah and cathy, it would be a bit discrimitating to not accept any other clan, it's not cool to deny clans because of some of their members, i'm sure you'll understand. But hey, this is not my league.

well ye a bit discriminating, but to have members below just general standards (like a member who does lame for example) for me personally is unexceptable....

What I wrote was, of course, exaggerated a bit.. but I think both of you got the point of it. We play on the same servers after all, so you simply must know, what I'm talking about.

Btw I was playing a bit between this post and the one I had written before, I took me about 15 minutes to get pissed off again by 'kurwa' guys and ppl like Gringo / Adasko ( GG clan ) who stole about 7 of my thaws ( not that I would care about my own score that much, it's just that I don't feel like playing a TEAM mod with so many insecure kids around.. )

Well we need 2 try FreezeDT again then no thaw stealing but last time it was upgraded it was laggy i think.

Failing that play some 1.32 - like lyor said some servers u dont need CDkey failing that lol i give you ma CDKey coz i play 1.32 mainly when ya tucked up in bed ( sad i know) but i bin called a OWL  a few times

But dont let the kids stress you out it make more sence getting stressed over important things in life not over some outdated soon 2 be extinct game

i prefer freezeDT, but this won't be a solution for a ladder. Just for the thawstealing i guess. they should try a frost zone server config.

freezedt just cant work with us - its laggy and very unstable above 6 players here (its designed for 1.32)
