Here is a link that will describe most of the .cfg file that u have, it not indepth but there
is enough, like when some 1 say com_maxfps and sv_maxclients bla bla, well
here is what the rest are, and a brif decription of then too:

This will change the colour of your rail ever time u fire it. Enjoy, but do be careful with
this, my suggestion is to make it in another .cfg file, copy your original .cfg file
so u have a backup. With the new one add the script and call it rainbow save and
exit (do not call it ranbow.cfg as this will add an extra cfg to the file extension
and this will not work).go into quake and then to console and type \exec
rainbow.cfg, that will load the config then after that go play and happy mulit
colour rails for u.
If things do go kaka, as quake is fragile and it does not like u
messing with the workings just delete the file called ranbow.cfg and it will be
gone and the original .cfg file will be running you save the ranbow file in your main quake folder. if it dose not run strait away then
go back to console and \exec q3config.cfg and it will work, then if u like
\writeconfig anther config as sort as a fail safe, (I have a back up of my config that work in word. If you are having trouble opeing your .cfg file then go to it and right click it and open with text pad or word pad, and you can view like that, (do make sure to tuen off the “always open with this program” as if you get it wrong you are a bit stuck there is help but I will not cover that here as each OS has a different way of dealing with it.
SO please do make a back up of your file so you don’t don’t kill me cos your
quake does not work.

in basic:

The script will make ur rail change colours

however it can fuck up ur quake

so backup ur config

+ to save cfg space save just the part of the rail script to a different .cfg

like railcolors.cfg

then exec that whilst in quake

then ull have it

i think i will leave it to you computer kids to do that maby when stema or posion can up it on auot download then i think i will get it

i am english just have dislexia, i can not spell anything at all, as u lot may have noticed,


stema can not have it in the upload as it is there config not your and u can not get it that way, the only way u can get it is to add it to your own config.

Jakie - it cannot be put on autodownload m8 - u cannot donwload a config from a server

just do it manually it's literally a 30second job..

Save the part butt said to a new cfg

exec that whilst in quake

paste it in notepad, save everything in a file called rainbow.cfg in yur freezeinstallunlagged.

play quake and type in console exec rainbow.cfg and see what happens! (and after that tell me if your pc crashed ! lol!)

Dude - it can't be auto downloaded

It can't really mess up quake as long as you back up your quake config.

ok if u see me playing quake look at my rail, i have had it now for 2 days and it works,



i just have a .cfg file that i exec in side quake and there u go,.



mad, u are mad LOL, but it will not damage your quake as long as u back up your .cfg file first.

ok this seams to be couseing some problems with people, so if u like i will make the .cfg for u and i will email it to u. then once u have it go in to quake and exec it. when i get home later to day i will post it here, so u can get it like that, all i will need it some1 to host a site where it can be downloaded.

i will also put this on a page here, so u can see what it looks like,
