Halo 2: Quite a good game, didn't have too long to play, but from what I could tell Single Player is not the main feature of it really. Mainly multiplayer.
Half life2: I don't touch cs-related games lol
Doom3: Very very good in Single player - very atmospheric - however multiplayer just is no good imho... Graphics of course very appealing
Farcry: I, again, haven't played this much/long time - I just got a bit bored with it to be honest. A good game, but not for me...
Need For Speed Underground 2: I'm no fan of driving games really, have NSFU 1 stored away somewhere...Played a couple hours to try and get into but only thing I liked was music...
Cs S: Bleh, cs full on...If ever had to be within a mile of one I would be likely to throw up
Final Fantasy 11 (this year in EU): Well it's gonna be heavily biased as I'm a major FF fan..But in short - 3rd best game I've played ever. Perhaps a bit pricey, but no matter
Grand Theft Auto ~ San Andreas: Not my type of game, but this was so highly anticipated I thought I'd give it a go. A good game, only real problem is cheats released so fast - so most just use them and not actually play the game. (Not me included, but most peeps) The actual game is very good, haven't found a glitch like in Vice City yet and the gameplay is quite like Vice City's too. Which also did very well..Hard to comment properally when you don't like the type of game much.
Fable: A decent game, and I mean it barely scrapes the decent mark. The game was too over hyped and false information was given..It was sort of bound to fail.
Sims 2: Very strange for me to get this one... It deffinately widens the gaping hole of possiblity Sims 1 left. The sims live more detailed lives etc. Pretty much everything has been widened. Only real problem is a powerful pc is needed for it. I got it to test and then gave to sister as she likes these games (using the family comp, which is quite old Windows ME) but the game runs so slow..So need to buy new pc/ upgrade computer as it goes very very choppy indeed...
Fifa 2005: I quite like football games..Nothing like playing for real so I don't get so many..Although the game is very good and I deffo prefer the managing system this time round..Only downside is that I think they release the games too early..I never see a huge graphics increase or wildly better gameplay..Although this time round the 30yard shots with ease are wiped away + gameplay is quite good...
Starwars Battlefront: Well I must say I did expect more (perhaps more of a call of duty game, as I think quite a few were) but good for senseless violence (like quake
) and different vehicles..
Pro Evolution Soccer 4: Well...not really many changes from PES3, but I do just enjoy this game...It has a nice..*thinks of way to describe* arcade-ish sort of feel to it...Graphics are quite good and I prefer the gameplay to the Fifa series..If you already have PES3 don't really bother getting it, but if you have say PES2 or PES1 go for it, you'll like what you see.
The Getaway BlackMonday: Deffinately a very good push-off from the original. I think the graphics and improvment on driving is deffinately a very good thing. In my opinion it's a bit underated (most people are still zoned on Grand Theft Auto San Andreas) and deffinately deserves more than what it's getting...
I think I'll leave it as that for at least a bit
Meh as you can see I'm deffo a hardcore gamer....Plenty of new titles there for you
Ciao
