Just to know who i can play with in QuakeLive and Whats your nickname there?

I played there but I kept getting owned except on insta games, so I pretty much gave up after a few days since it doesn't change much from classic q3 anyway

(and eFreeze rocks, as long as qlive doesn't have mods, won't play there seriously)

I dont agree, there aint shooting through either lag problems ;D

With the new skill-level filter, you can choose servers and im not owned like i was in beta-test.

Well when I started playing (indeed, during the beta) I had a fight with a bot to determine my skill. Are you saying that now you just choose your "skill level"? It sounds worse as I guess that means you can do some newbie bashing whenever you feel so :P

 

i'm in as said - ya the bot match determines your skill... i like it too for a change, as my uni tests are over and i have some free time i played last days. i could win ffa games mostly, team-death and clan arena are harder but more fun and and in cft there are new weapons and features which i havent figured out what they do yet. and its cool you dont have to download mods but just connect to the servers.

hm after the botmatch (ye i went through the first portal coz i wanted to be ranked nub) i see exactly 1 server that is above my skill, none that is very difficult and 80% are lower than my skill. i dont get it i didnt even try to be good vs crash and i honestly suck with all weaps :/. so i cant see which are for real nubs like myself :P. anyways i managed to be in the top3 on those skill-matching servers most of the time but havent seen any of u guys yet, only some 1.16 m8s . hope to meet u there soon !

But i did the training before, while beta-test, and there werent doors, only the bot.

Finally, you can choose your tier (skill-level) with the filter.

lol i did it on expert as well when i played first time, beat that bish 15-6 or so. way2ez

bah in ffa you need a good portion of luck where you spawn (near a weapon) and if you meet opponents who already suffered. and with that quaddamage its quite "unfair".

in clan arena you start with all weapons and no quad. thats more fair, but i met some owners there - who where also arrogant as fuck btw. just like persiu

theres a lot of thru shots on quake live instagib lol.

gamer tags id guess .. never really felt like i shot through any1 but ye some people either have a big imagination or possibly im just too tolerant about that. but just so u know, i never shoot through people in q3 with stable connections either, only those that look a bit warpy and then its just as i try to predict, shoot and he warps b4 he meets the spot i want him to be in. so no real throughshots either
