I need ur help guys.. cause i formatted my harddisk and when i wanna play quake in in few sec my monitor turns off, all by himself..

I don't understand cause i have the newest videodriver..

I wanna make a server, but my upload speed is 39.6 KByte/sec.

Can i make a deson server with that??

Else i gotta put my server in my moms shop they got 4 Mb/sec. (upload speed)  or something.

 

i'd recomment ur moms shop for sure!! nice upload man.. but that upload what u got is ok i think.. for say 6/8 peepz.. lol i have no idea cyas Steven

I think steven is ight with the amount of players - but if u gave the serv more ram then maybe 1/2 extra...

but idd 4mb = - Very nice upload u could get 24 for sure maybe 32 - 64!...ive never really known how much quake allows (it may be infinite, but im not sure)

When i start my server and i join.. it is just normal quake...  how can i make it with railgun only and grapple??

go to downloads section in here

download the freeze server thing

edit the .cfg file with the name of server and such

run the .bat file

it should be workin in freeze now

eh.. it isn't working.. 

ah yes forgot to say:

u must put the .cfg file in either baseq3 folder or freeze folder...(best with freezw folder)

then run the batch

Also in the .bat file (open it in notepad to do this) it will ask where the .cfg file is - u must give the full path to the file

When im putting it in the Freeze or Instaunlagged map is doesn't work and when i put it in the baseq3 map it's just the normal Quake

Umm

u can put the baseq3 maps into the freeze/unlagged folder and then itll have the maps...

i think i know why is just normal when in baseq3, but not necessary to discuss atm - so pop the maps into freeze/unlagged and .cfg and then load it

How can i disable all weapons, besides the railgun?? and how can i get the grapple work?? Because it ain't working..

Umm there is something in the config that tells u the number of the railgun and grapple? (should be) well add those 2 numbers together and change the cmd thats probably a big number like  5024 to what u got...should work (if doesnt ill dload play around post here what's needed
