Hey community!

So what we were thinking lately is to make some instagib (rail, gaunt only) games which would have an real money entry fee and prizes for the first three players ...

The idea was for something like this:
There's a FFA (free for all) match (so no teams and frozen bodies) in instagib (rail and gaunt only).
The entry fee to get in that tourney would be like 2€. When 20 players would pay the entry fee, 40€ would be collected. Match can either have a timelimit of like 10 or 15 minutes or scorelimit of 50 or 100. When timelimit or scorelimit is reached the tourney ends. First 3 players gets the money from the collected 40€. 1st gets 20€, 2nd 12,5€ and 3rd 7,5€. Others lose the 2€ fee.

So this is the basic idea of how this COULD look like. Prizes could be split in different amounts, more or less players could be in the match, etc etc ... Also there could be different styles, bigger entry fee's after time or lower when we try for the first time ... Also we can see some 1v1 matches with winner takes all and bigger fee's ;-)

This is a rough plan, i just wanna see if there's interest in such thing before we start making any progress ...

Seriously, I'm afraid that it can cause some useless tensions inside a clan. By example, if a player sucks on battleground, everyone will shout after him...



I don't think I'll pay once to play efreeze. I play mainly for fun, and I don't wanna loose that. It's just my opinion, and I totally accept the fact that a lot of people are playing for competition.

I think Pasztetka just read FN news called "Community Feedback - Cash prizes for Tournaments and Ladders" :-)

I see it's interpreted in wrong way. There wouldn't be clans in this, ONLY INDIVIDUALS ... also no team play as it was mentioned, only a rail killing between individuals, you would spawn instantly after you would be killed and you would be able to kill anyone ... Also I dunno where you read it would be like betting something on some team, laugh

To adam, it's actually an old idea which grown up when the community had too many kids in it ... I just want to see if there's enough interest ... There'll deffo be more excitement, fun, motivation for us older gals ...
