I wanna take the forums after the league to have a big discussion about the Q3 freeze world future. Questions & Opinions are very welcome! I had in mind: will you all continue to play q3 freeze? Do you like new maps? Do you think changes are about time? Move to 1.32? The players misbehave? Do you all still have fun? I think if we all really like/care about this game/mod we should never end to improve it! High goals, but let's reach them!

there is one feature of the efreeze mod i dont like. The grappling hook. I like the original big grey grappling hook, and i cant seem to get it in efreeze.

You know like the demo's of the league where the hook is grey, league took place in pure server, so i would like to know how to do that in an efreeze pure server. Can some1 send me the cfg that the demos were made with, i seriously would love my cfg 2 look like the one in the demo's

Crissy, i think that if u want the gray hook agian, u will have to remove your efreeze, and then unintill 1.31. then re ad it again, as the gray hook is the defult hook tyoe for 1.31 and 1.30, that the only wya i can think to get it

We should only set same hook speed on all servers.

Crissy, the "normal" grappling hook is not the grey one... that's just missing texture xD, if you want it, just put autodownload off and remove the efreeze folder. No need to reinstall 1.31 again.

I think we should have new ideas for the gameplay itself, possibly staying frozen after a team scores, I dunno why we'll move onto that in a minute but it'd be better I think, like some people have said, it gives the other team a chance to score. But IMO the autothaw time is waaaaay to long, honnestly it gets really boring and lame if nobody thaws you, thats a real big disappointment if you ask me, maybe it should be lowered? It'd be more funner this way, I also noticed on the 1.32 USA servers the autothaw time is alot quicker than on 1.31. Also maybe the fraglimit should go to 15? =\ hmm yeah, again like the USA servers, it's more funner, gives people a better chance of getting a higher score. The last thing i'd like to mention is cheaters, I dunno how we can deal with this shit, pure don't do nothing, I think 1.32/punkbuster is the only option, so bringing the servers onto 1.32 sounds like a good idea, but would they be as common as they are on 1.31 these days? That's my opinions of how things should change, hopefully something will change and it'll be alot better and funner to play on efreeze.

how can u like the grey hook? its so big and gross, gets in the way of ur vision =/

if we go 1.31, forget calling it "the 1.31 freeze world future" call it the 1.32 freeze world future. but then again 1.32 isnt a bad idea.

Lowering the the time someone is frozen will make maps last longer, cause it's a lot harder to score unless the whole team gets spawnfragged, or is that what you wanted?

it shouldnt be about running around like a chicken with your head cut off with the hook waiting for someone to self thaw, its about goin into the fire of the enemies and gettin the thaw the old fashion way THE STRAFE KEYS

Yes, i remember when on HoD TDM MasterS autothawtime was about 1 minute... 2:2 and 12minutes played

this rule ownez!!!! i think tht is a very good idea. I think ths might be a good idea in clanwars aswell. It gives all the nooby clans a chance aswell as clans lke 333, ExS and section 8

i dunno but maybe we should make a week of ONLY custom maps on EVERY servers weed / #1cw server will surely be ok for it  ---> if efreeze hardcore servers do it too i think ppl will HAVE TO download those maps or they ll wont  be able to play ... as far as i know almost everyone play at least 1 time a week so ....

well just an idea in the morning ...

anyway it seems like a good idea and i play more than once a week xD

new maps would be cool, but you guys shouldnt block cl_maxpackets, that makes our pings ho higher

im beggining to think u dont know what makes the ping high. or maybe tht is me who doesnt know

serversided MinMaxPackets maybe make your ping grow from 30 to 35 or 100 to 115 but still it makes the game less laggy. you yourself feel less lag and especially others c u moving smoothely. with low packets players start warping. that sux :P

so what would benefit me, and not anyone else?
