Ok.. since I'm trying to move to 1.32, I need a lot of people who can answer my questions..

I encoutered my first problem when pb banned me.. I had /bind i ogc_shoot 1 in my config.. WooaaH! I don't even have OGC, but well.. I got this illegal q3, who some guy zipped from his pc. Maybe that's the reason for the ogc..

But now I fixed that, and I want to join a server but it say's:
Server Disconnected - You have been kicked via punkbuster (for 0 minutes) ... PB Guid AUTH: UNKN

wtf does this mean?

I think its just that ur cd-key aint valid one for PB.

Oh yeah. Maybe it would be wise not to use automatic download as default cuz u never know what fucked up shit pk3 files u might get.

Well some1 from this community gave me a good working cdkey.. Could it be that the cdkey is now fucked up because of that ogc shit? :

most prabely the cd key does this happen to every server you have tryed that have pb enabeled

There would be something else written because of that ogc thing i suppose.

Every player should have GUID number codes when they join the PB enabled servers. And for my knowledge, its because its not valid cd-key. "Valid GUIDs are not "UNKN" (Unknown), WRONGIP or DUPLICATE GUID PunkBuster error codes." Original Quake III Arena game doesnt cost much, must be around 5-8 euros on local stores/internet-shops nowadays.

hey janick...i had much of those problems with 1.32...

first of all "turn of the damn autodownload"

then...get a pb-folder from any1 who got the 1.32 working (i did it like this)

and then go to menu-->Multiplayer and do "Punkbuster: Enabled"

easy huh? this is what i did and it worked

just download pbweb.exe from evenbalance and then let that exe update your pb.

Or u can just add these to ur config:

seta sv_punkbuster "1"

seta cl_punkbuster "1"

And console commands like:

/pb_sv_enable

/pb_sv_update

are usefull too
