how often does the http://clan-333.gameboo.de/ get updated

between every 10-30 secs i think...a browser refresh...you wouldnt notice much

does u know if it counts for gt turbo as well or just server 1

That means: Server isn't running  !!!

 

This happens because stema has dynamic ports and so when the ports change this page can't monitor the traffic on a specific port. If we want to have statistics we'll have to make static ports for quake3 servers. For example: 333 GT Server will allways run on 27960, 333 Server 1 27962 ... etc..

It would be nice but spc was right: unfortunatelly every time i restart servers i get a new port number (and sometimes a new public ip too) that i cant know in advance!

Stema can you tell me exactly which hardware are you using ? Maybe i can help you fix this anoying ports. You should also reinstall the OS you're having on the server right now (Windows xp?).

I recommend you get or buy a used pc Pentium III 800 with 512MB or ram and use it as a router on that machine and the machine you're using as a server you should install Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition or at least the standard edition of Windows Server 2003.

Maybe we can even fix the lags of the server...

ty for your help but believe me, there is nothing more i can do for it, cos im not in a single lan, im in a wan managed by my isp, so i cant control it! i can just control everithing about my wan segment (i've a private ip, a router etc etc) but to go out over the internet i passthrough a nat/pat and its not controlled by me!!

As for the pc, i have a notebook..i tried to update lan drivers but u know on a notebook u have integrated nic so there is not a great support after selling. For sure i feel servers r lil bit laggy in these periods, but from pc side it seems to be all perfect!!! Maybe ill try to stop the 2v2, and see if something gets better.

Don't you have a single fixed ip that has open ports from 1024 and above?

So you have IPADDRESS:>1024 available.. the only thing you must do is configure your router to forward ports .. and also i don't think you're using WAN (Wi-Fi) because WiFi has very high pings ... maybe you're using MAN ... but definitely not WAN.

Can you draw a sketch of your network ?
