I think we need to reach a point about the use of new maps, so thats my idea:
Our goal should be to create 4 CW map packs, easy to find, to download and to install. Each map pack is simply a zip file with 5 maps inside. When u organize a clan war the challenged will chose the map pack to play with, and the war will be played only with the 5 maps in the map pack, no other maps allowed.
Now the aim should be to create 4 well balanced map packs.
As for now i see andi, soady and sari (who else?) interested in testing maps for freeze. Well i think u should find, discusing within yourselves, some maps good to be played in a war (some good for team play, some small for kickassing etc) and mix them in map packs. Of course the owners of server will have to configure the server for a war only with the map pack the challenged team chose, so they will be forced to play only those maps.
I think this method is intereting cos first it force ppl to download and train some new maps and second cos i think it will give us mor fun in wars, cos maybe some clans will be good in one particular map they trained more etc etc (the idea came when we played our last war with exs, they chose dm17 as last map!!!!a tourney map for a clan war, weird! we havnt ever played a war there so we lost! and that was a good tactic indeed!

For example:
CWMP01: dm6,dm4,dm7,dm3,dm9
CWMP02: dm6,dm2,dm13,dm17,wtf2 etc..etc...
I think the first 2 map packs should be composed mainly by standard maps, but u can chose new maps, if they worth, for the other 2 map packs: just my suggestion, dont create a map pack with all 5 new maps, cos otherwise no one will play on it during wars. Try to balance well new maps and old maps...and dont forget ppl still want dm6 in every clan war...so maybe that map should be present in every map pack.
Imho i think u 3 (andi, sari, soady + who is intersted) should test maps and decide the map packs composition. U decide and we will play with your choices.
