WHY 1.32 What is the use of it, you cant use PB if you want to keep your servers unpure and have people that dont have a legal key. the netcode is 99,9 % the same so pings dont get mutch better. efreeze works fine on 1.31. and if its pure its verry hard to cheat on it. so what are the bennefits.

I play on servers with pb without orginal cd-key u dont need it

so if we all some how moved to 1.32 would efreeze work there and still be the same still beable to block the cheats as well as pb doing the work reson im :S about 1.32 is saristian came to 1.31 with a unused ogc but hes been playing 1.32 if im right with that in his config so whats gona happen :S

not mutch chance of getting us all to 1.32 b4 crimbo well i dont think there is any way we need to put somthing on the servers so all will know the servers are gona be moved its ok talking about it here but loads will not know

Maybe we should have a trial period there, see if people go there, how many, if they like the servers and there are no lag issues, etc.



the main thing is to make sure as many people from 1.31 move there, cos its the people the make the game fun, not the mod, or quake version or whatever. so if we lost a lot of the community moving to 1.32, then its pointless.



We'd have to advertise on all the sites and in the servers about 1.32, and especially about the point that apparently you dont need the cd key for the EU PB enabled freeze servers in 1.32. Btw, is this 100% true? i was under the impression of PB is enabled then you'll need a cd key...



If we DO need a cd key, then its gonna be a problem as most people wont move or be able to.

u dont neeed orginal cd key just try 81.26.6.5:27960 this server is with pb and i can play there wihout orginal cd key

ye i agree with hitman, we need to spread the word as much as we can to get a lot of people to 1.32, else it isnt gonna work...

You DO need an official cd key if you want to join the OGL (Online Gaming League) each player has his own key and every other player can check your GUID with a punkbuster command. This way no other players than the ones registered on the website can play for the clan and if you do cheat and get caught everyone will know it's you even though you have an alias. It's not hard to get a cd key though, just go to a internet cafe with a gaming zone and note it down, there are so many people playing quake and so few playing freeze, it's not like there is any chance of some dude in that same internet cafe entering the same server as you are playing at the same time, as long as I play q3 it hasn't happened. I love 1.32, there is more respect for skill and a lot less lamers, I think we should at least try it and if it works out i'll sign up the loonies for the OGL for sure, which would be very cool.

Well if we loose the community it's pointless alright, but I don't think we will - as all said - spread the word, and move ALL servers to 1.32 - they will come along!

BUT important thing really is that ALL SERVERS MOVE!  Also !333! - perhaps lag-problems are gone then, who knows   If a cd-key is needed, well that's a problem, gonna look for a q3 on ebay... and bartek: there are better and worse ripped cd keys! I can play on 1.32 too, never had problems even in USA, but punkbuster updates regularly so perhaps it's just a matter of time...

my pb is up to date..original key..so never had problems with pb ever..

now i join and it says: pb_sleep = 120 must be equal to 0

but minimum is 20? i tried 0..just gets shoved to 20...then i put to 500 like barteky said..nothing? it then says i have 450 not 500.

i tried lots of different values and nothing...but i dont understand why it is so dumb? can join any pb serv u name and play except this 1...

You need pb_sleep 500, it's what I do when it gets choppy on high ping servers.

well guys i realy dont see the use of this all, for me playing won't be a problem (got 2 origional key's). but why is this all needed, if we move the servers and we want to move the community with us the lamers will come with us to. for punkbuster the servers need to be pure and you need a cd key for the banning thing to work properly. that was the exact problem why the efreeze protection did not work because the public servers were not pure. so can someone plz tell me why we are go true so mutch trouble of moving everything we have here wile there are almost no bennefits from it.

you need to download and install the 1.32 patch (which is downloadable on this site), then you can see all the 1.32 ONLY! If you also want 1.31, to come back now and then, you must dowload a version switcher (also downloadable on this site) and install it AFTER you installed 1.32!

Above all, you need an original cd-key
(none!~urs dont work grr :P)

Well, problem's simple: Moving to 1.32 and having new maps on servers is basically the same - If ALL and EVERY server (+Administrator) Have new maps and 1.32 In a short time 90% of the players will go and will have - if it's only some - people are lazy and stay on servers where they can play!

So - Administrators (+ clan-leaders) must decide wether to move and to have new maps or not! These Discussions are USELESS !

@ LEADERS: Please get in contact with each other decide wether to move and to have new maps - and everybody can be happy!!! Make a list of wanted maps here! and put them on the clan's websites to download - my list will be seen here shortly!!!

If leaders won't decide make a poll, set a date,... We can make an email poll... I even help if it's needed!

i rate 1.32 for pb but its a little big the only thing i dont like 1.31 is good but my problem is i watch dudes in cws and see they have wallhacks and thats only 1 cw i hope i only got lucky watching that just kinda worryed about how many of them are actualy out there

Uhm, just a thought, if no one plays 1.32, I think it's obvious we might aswell stay here, the cheaters are not crowding our servers or anything :/, I think the anti cheat on unpure servers also keeps most of them away.

why not stay here and make the servers pure? if you need anticheat so bad, efreeze will ban most bots anyway there is no real need to move cos PB does not work properly to without valid cd key's and the onley thing you do is confuse people with updates ect. remind that not even 1% of the people who play on the 1.31 servers visites this forums.

ow well was a nice dream we will just need to keep our eyes out for them then to the admins watch TheLasT (RAW) WOL!NX both from nas would be nice if you could sort them out
