Has the server been shut down or are there any technical troubles ? Can't get used to the slow hook on 333..

:S is the hook slower on 333 than hod masters

Yeah its like twice as fast on HoD, perfect - just wish it was the same on 333 server 
coz the 1 now is slow n well doesnt grab as well.

but jumpin in HoD sucks .... its not jumpin its like standing instantly ... so hook is slower on 333 but movin is much better ...maybe u should do a mix of both ...cause i hate that u canrt speed up on damn osp on HoD

There are no HoD servers anymore in a few time .. so no problem!

Eh really? Then it's really time for me to leave.. no servers, no fun.. both overcrowded 333 and high-ping russian servers don't fit me.. well, anyway.. at least I did my best to save it..and if the problem is money.. I still think many ppl would help you with that..

There i am noob and all is new, thats fun again. quake i can play even with closed eyes, and servers i can make in 5 sekonds... u understand? i want my fun back too. maybe one day i come back. i hope somebody else will be so kind to sponsor a few low ping server. And btw, the 1v1 will stay forever, there u will find me still daily :P

Maybe I can make a dedicated server that is capable of handeling more than 30 connections at a time with no lags. The server will be located in The Netherlands.
I will keep y'all up to date about the progress of the server negotiations.

btw can u tell me what game u are going to play i tryed leaving q3 b4 but i was just to darn adicted to it tryed hl 2 good but bit slow for me and to scare lol bLack halk down was class but still a little to slow i think im adicted to the speed of q3

Do you use linux poison? If so, what command do you use to start up a server, bombaci has some problems starting the server.

well u need a linux version of quake .. get it on some p2p ..
use q3ded for dedicated server ..

than you just need to put the pakX.pk3 where X is a number (in windows they are in quakedir/basic3/ ) enz in a directory. how you start a server knows none.
btw you said your server should support a 30 slot server, how fast is your connection and if it does can you make instaid of one 30 slot 2 smaller servers so one of 18 and one of 12 or so?

bit off topic, but i reconment to download them both and play them cos it are 2 verry differend games. Brothers in arms is verry teamplay and realistic focust (no aimpoint wile mp and you have to play toghether cos you die verry easy. CoD is a little older but more playable if you ask me. my recomentation just wait till the new CoD.

abotu the sevrer thingy you guys dont remember the very old days when we all played on rus server cause stemas server didnt existed back then? we all had like 100 ping :P ...that was long time agooo..but anyway first when hod server wasnt there we didnt really had ny problems did we? ah well any way ofcourse it sucks hod stops the servers rocked but i dont care poison is right quake is now 2 easy and bored im going to leave q3 2 for newer games im goign to play painkiller and hl2 online painkiller owwwwnnnzzz!!!!!!
so cathy i dont understand why you complain about we got to0 less servers or something cause when i started here all we had was 1 rus server with like 12 slots? or 14 dont remember and we all had 90 ping so :P (i mean rus was the only good euro server back then) it wasnt that long ago...2 years?

just now that we finally found the way to get rid of cheaters!!
and u knwowservers r not a problem cos i found many new servers facing the scene recently: we want u back, no matter your servers!!! u have so many friends here!!!!

But i dont make warservers anymore. thats to much work for me, and i always forget last time. So plz stema, help me out! you make warservers for a couple of month, then i do it again ok?
I now try to own CoD and its fun. but i miss you all tehre so i never will leave this community completly.

sure mate!! i will still continue to setup server everytime i will be able!!
Just dont think it as a job: create sevrers only when u can, and if u cant...dont think it as a problem!! u do everythink for free, so it cant get u under pressure!!!
