How can i change the grapple hook from the crappy grey 1 to the ICE grapple ?

NM I SORTED IT, GUESS I HAD 2 DOWNLOAD ANOTHER FILE DIDNT HAVE AUTO DOWNLOAD ON SO DIDNT KNOW

Its when u update freeze quake. First u have grey grapple and the frosen body's dont really look frosen etc. After update the grapple looks better and other stuff as well

update? how do you update? all servers run the latest versions so from what you need to update?

if u go on the 333 servers with auto download on it gets a freeze vertion that make people look frozzon when u shoot them not yellow and your hook changes it goes like the lightining gun with a rocket on the end of it ( this is the one i run

if u go on the hod tdm master or tiney i think with auto download on it changes the freeze mod ones again 2 me it looks old school but its got more stuff on to look at on the hook to someting i cant explan its kinda ghost like see threw not very easy to see with my eyes any way i think when u shoot some on the same thing hapens u go white so u look frozon and the score menu changes 2 its set up diffrently u get the teams side to side eg. one on the left on on the right then  u also get a over all ping for your teams

do you mean the pk3 inside the freeze when u dload it?

Cos that gave me nicer grapple + frozen-looking bodies....

Also osp mod gives a nice grapple....

Anyway on the HoD server u can download the file freeze10.pk3 well trust me dont lol its makes everything look old like jak said its fookin ugly

On the 333 server when u put auto download on it downloads freeze0.pk3 and freeze1.pk3 into your freeze folder, which is the FREEZETAG mod alot better

Another thing i would like changed is the grapple speed, if u have played over at 1.32 RnR server u will see a huge difference in speed and it works much better what u say stema.

lol we have 2 many old people in 1.31 if freeze was any faster they would not play lol

o i now get what you mean if you download of hod you get the osp file the freeze10.pk3 (named freeze10 by me its just the hud file of osp) imo the frozen ones look orange i like it more but some dont like it the grapple of the hod mod looks like a railgun beam with some kind of splash at the end i like that more as the 333 mod also you can change stuff in the hod version like enemy model\colors and the thikness of your grapple mine for exemple is just 1 mm thick. you can name the hod mod old school but in fact its more advanced as the mod of the 333 server onley they did not ajust the looks of the frozen to white like the latest normal freezetag .



btw i dont like a faster grapple, you can move faster thats cool but i always fly by things with fast grapple. but that is personal same as or using osp of the mod of the 333 site i like the one on the hod more cos there you can ajust more and imo the grapple is not in the way all the time cos its so thinn and light of colors (especialy for me cos i get grapple bug verry often)

you can still have the frozen white bodies with any modification you add to freeze...just unzip both pk3

also im pretty sure there's a way to have whatever type of hook you want...if the right files were edited (.tga files in freeze/baseq3 I think)

what about both railjump and grapple :P

nah i think this is to much of mobility ....poison was running it that way on his server for a day and its to much ... wether railjump or hook but both is not so good
