i have chosen for No Ghost, i think this is the best freezemod ever made there is onley one problem there is a bug in it what makes the server crash after a wile, but i think someone will find a solution for it. i like the mod cos it sopports OSP vieuw and it it has camper, and chatfrag protection. the mod that commes after that is normal freeze unlagged cos ufreeze is nice but onley works pure so its hard to make everyone get the same mod. the osp is nice but has to less server options. and freeze dt sucks like shit it kicks when not pure and it does not support OSP, its so DAMN buggy!!and worst and i like to stay in 1.31 so a mod that needs to run on 1.32 is no option for me!!!!!!!

i just want to give my opinion about osp view in other mods. Well, to say the truth i dont like it at all. First of all its a bad thing to mix mods: if u want to play osp go and find a osp server (so dont complain about freezedt cos it kicks u! lol use freezedt and no one will kick u!), if u want to play a freeze , play freeze!

I though about it, and even if its not like real cheats...well u with osp view r trying to "Cheat" the game as well, cos u try to force a mod into another mod... but indeed this is not the main problem.

What i fear most is that osp is really good for tweaking, it has so many settings and commands... and well, this is why i've been hating it for ages!! It pushes me far from the game!! I love instaunlagged freeze cos its simple, u connect to the server and play, thats all... and if u r good in aiming, and a little bit smart u can soon be a good player, without having to get used to 10000 different commands and settings.

U could say: just learn osp commands! well this is what i dont hope. This way we will have some good osp tweakers that will have a great advantage of this, and others that will find hard to learn so many commands (and probably they wont even try, like me for example) and prbably will leave freeze, bored, b4 even knowing what this community can really offer to them.

So, im for using only pure servers for freeze, and some other different servers for osp players!!

I dunno about this but I support my hero stema I dont want to learn alot of commands just to stay alive longer than the few seconds i do now lol. I hardly know the commands for freeze, if 1 of u say: Missy do this! than im like.... ok! U guys just know those technical stuff and I assume I can trust u with that. If I have to learn them myself I prob go nuts and run away from quake screaming :P

i tried to force ppl palying pure a time ago... not work.. all too stupid to install a mod or they fucked up the pakX.pk3s ... :/

I'm osp 100% (I didn't see the option in the poll until now, so sue me) as for the reasons you seem to hate it so much! I like the idea of being able to mod quake to extremes...I don't like the normal old plain quake, I don't think I'd be here now if I didn't have the osp view in freeze cos I just can't stand the standard look..
Its also not 100000 commands - I know most of the commands for freeze + osp + baseq3  and I only use say 12 different ones...Once you set your config up there is very little you actually have to do...

Imagine using a mod with pure though - if any extra models or maps or so you couldn't use them if the server didn't have... That sucks ass, I like having all different view + models + maps than others.. Also if we do have pure we cannot do what I've been planning as we'd be kicked...(Plan is not public until I can assure it works)

if u love it why change it? I mean we've all been playing with it for so long now that no1 cares if they're spawnfragged much or so.. 

With the better osp tweakers having an advantage - this is similar to saying that a different configs (same mod) are unfair as it can provide a great advantage..

Well perhaps we can try this ma'am - I set u up a config and all the trimmings - u wont have to edit a thing...then just duplicate ur freeze so its backed up and then try osp mod with this

with that u wont have to learn the commands and u can have some nice advantages

first of all i dont agree with you about osp stema, if you don't want to use it fine but if others want to learn 12 commands why not let them. You don't like the looks of osp cos the frozen bodys are orange i dont like the look of the normal grapple. its just so big and anoying. oke the green skins can give you a little advantage but if you turn you brightness high like i have its just green not blinking or what so ever i like it cos i can't shoot at the wrong team anymore so no more advantage if you play in bue i personaly think that enemy's always green is even more fair. and about team models if you dont like it why dont you turn it off noone says you need to turn it on, and that can give a advantage what is the difference with playing with forceplayer models or team models (besides that i dont like to hear myself jumping and i like my razor skin.)

about making the server pure yeah good idea but that way you get lots of peeps who get kicked cos they have a non standard skin or map in there folder and how do you want to get everyone having the same mod if i downlaod the freezedt mod from stema server and i want to play on hod (IF they would use freezedt mod but poision does not like it thankfully) and they have a slightly changed mod it will kick me unless i turn autodownload on but if i download there files i cant play again on stema's server so what than having installed quake 4 times on my pc for every server one???

and about the freezedt mod most ones around here dont like it and they got all resons to!!! so why do you force us to play in a way you want stema if you dont want to use the osp vieuw just dont and play like you want it!!! but dont force us to use a mod whitch looks like its been written in 1900 and is full of bugs!!!! personaly i dont like the idea that you even consider to change to 1.32 just cos your mod needs it. but that is just my opinion!!!

second, i like osp but onley as vieuw the osp as server has to less options to replace instaunlagged, thats why i like no ghost cos its in fact a improved version of instaunlagged whitch is mutch more developt and even in development at the moment. freezedt is a mod that is made for 1.30 you saw how it ran on stema server LIKE SHIT !!! so that is for me enough to say that they did not made a good mod if they HAD MADE it for 1.32 i would have understood why it sucked on 1.31 but they did not. so i think if the servers should change in freeze dt that a lot of peeps get trouble whith bugs, and the pureness of the servers, and a lot of peeps wont like the looks of quake, this is not onley for freezedt but also for Ufreeze these mods need to be pure and force peeps to use the right mod i think if you want everyone to be happy that its more fair if you give everyone the chance to play as they want.

well i just told my opinion: if we can force averybody to use osp, like in a pure osp server, thats a fair thing: if u enter server, either newbie or experienced u r, u will play with same "weapons". In this mixed way "knowledge" makes the difference in place of "playing skills". I understand that coming back and losing all advantages u got is a step backward for u, i know... but i still not consider it a fair thing, considering all new players  approaching avery day to this game. yes we can use site to explain ppl how to install osp, autodowload as hos made (evenif an 8mb fiel is impossible to be downloaded from a quake server), but i still think its not enaugh to give *everyone* the same posibilities to play.

As for freezedt and 1.32: i've never said i want to go to 1.32, im just thinking about whats the best choice for *most* of us. Punkbuster is important for the cheaters problem; we found the way to avoid the most important obstacle, the cd key. We also can choose to not use freezedt if u all dont like, instafreeze works well on 1.32... so whats the negative point? yes, probably, i say probably, u wont be able to mix mods, thats the only problem we have to consider.

the negative point is that we dont need punkbuster cos WE DONT HAVE A CHEATER PROBLEM!!! if there are in this intire year 3 peeps chought for cheating thats it 3 on the how many we play with in this community even if it where 10 it will be liek 0.0001 % of the community the problem is those kiddies who are calling everyone a cheater and that is something you won't solve with punkbuster cos 1 not all cheats are detected and sercond those kids will stay call peeps cheaters look what happend with the loonies in 1.32 they played on a punkbuster server. so i dont see a reson to use 1.32 or punkpunkbuster besides with the use of punkbuster commes the problem with pure server. pure server means trouble like poision already discoverd by trying to use a Ufreeze server after 2 days noone got the right mod anymore cos they join differend servers. also you dont like to learn mutch commands how do you think to tell noobs how to adjust there rate, maxpackets ect if you onley got 20 seconds before punkbuster kicks them if you use wrong settings.




about comming back from my advantages what do you mean by it just the green man it dont makes difference if you shoot on green or red or bleu. it dont makes difference if you have a osp grapple or a normal one its just what you used to i just like tho osp one more cos its more simple i like the orange frozen bodys better than the white so its you a matter of taste. what is the difference about where the chat window is located its still a anoying to bussy point on the screen what does is matter if its on the bottom or at the top of the screen it does not give you a advantage the onley thing you could mabey see as a advantage is that you always have to aim at the same color of players so you dont mistake in whitch team you are but that is the onley thing.


downloading from servers impossible ??? i saw servers where i can download from with like 30 kb\s with that speed 8 mb is nothing.


o yeah stema have you any idea how long it takes to download or the freezedt or the Ufreeze or the old freezeinstaunlagged from your server that is taking for hours to cos you dont onley load the nessesairyfiles like freeze 0 to 3 but also a lot of other crap like the soundfiles eitherway downloading a mod from your server is (no offence) something what is no can do or you just have to let your pc on for like 8 hours.



what is the deal with mixing up mods??? yeah indeed what is wrong about the way it goes today and it goes for like 3\4 of a jear cos that is the time peeps use these settings. i think everyone should deside for themselfs how they would like to play with or without OSP your still the one who has to aim your still tha one who has to react if someone commes around corners and if there color is black, white,red, bleu or green makes no difference this game is about who presses the button first and who makes the nicest move and there is no mod who can change this. and as long a mod dont helps you with pressing that button, aiming or gives you the oppertunity to see things that others cant like looking true walls its a fair mod whatever the skins or wapons may look like. if you dont like it dont use it but dont thake off someones way of playing cos you like to play on a other way.

You are right with the cheater thing. Last time i never heard the word cheater or saw someone cheating. I kicked one sure cheater in my live lol.


To the MoD thing, i think using wrong mods with other is just to have more comfort. OSP have a nice scoreboard that show me all ppl even if server is overfulled.

Yeah, agree with that amigo - never seen more then 3 deffinate public cheaters in freeze all the rest are just from people saying to some1 who scores a lucky shot or so...

i readed them all !! Very nice work agian, all reading the text must say that theres no reason to switch because of the cheaters and that osp is only a help!

The only good thing about freezeDT is the anti-cheat, the rest suxxxxx (those are 5 x's btw) like the team that wins, some ppl stay frozen after a new round WTF "> and a lot of other crap too.
