oke it is not about 1.31 but it is about quake so i posted it here. i have sinds a few days a original key from someone who does not play quake anymore and never gave it to someone else. but even with that key i can't connect to some servers after connecting it jumps out giving this error unpure client detected invalit pk3 files referenced waht can i do about this

That error is not to do with ur cdkey for sure --- Its from a command: /sv_pure 1 -- If a server has this u need all the right pk3 stuff....try making sure ur on the right PR and type /sv_pure 1 into console...if not ill think some more

would turning on auotmatic updates do any thing try that

Damn man,mot work,i had sv_pure 0,changed it in sv_pure 1 but not work again,say i'm unpure client,and not have pk3 file references...gay gay gay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

If a server is set as PURE  u should have the SAME and ONLY pk3 files  server has in the mod directory. This is good for avoiding pk3 cheats and to make sure every player uses same mod config; but this means that if u have, for example an extra sound pk3 (As hod servers have) or modified pk3 fiels, u cant enter a pure server.

U can try to delete everithing in your mod directory (better, save in another location for backup) and connect that server with autodownload ON; this way u will download the originbal pk3 files directly from the server.

Ok,Now i try to delete the mods...i have a lot of mods,and set up autodownload.

But if my pk3 file will be changed i lost my configure or not??
