got a new laptop and it runs on vista.

i cannot get 1.32 working. everytime i join a server punkbuster kicks me and it says "server communication faliure: pnkbstra.exe

and when i strt the game up in the console it says "failed to extract file: C:/windows/system32/pnkbstra.exe

need help lol what shall i do got an FN match later today but cannot play if this problem continues

let some1 send u his pb folder :o (possibly with vista)

i looked at the c:/windows/system32 for pnkbsta.exe and there is no such thing on my computer so it would be helpful if someone can please send me this thing lol

i ran that and it did a load of tests on my punkbuster and it corrected any problems or whatever so now it workss SQE gettt stoood on lol

vistas shit, it doesnt work with most games.

maybe you should look in there FaQ section instead, see if theres an answer there?

the problem was that punkbuster wasnt registered as service. In XP, it's done automatically, but vista is "more secure"...

But you will have openGL problem anyway. You should really trash it.

hope this kinda shit wont happen on windows 7 that comes out next year
