hey 333ers,

As sending too many Emails seems like spam I wanna try this post here, though I fear only the active players will read it....

I don't know what to do anymore... Basically we have more than enough members in 333, nice people with great and owning skills, but yet again the activity is the problem. The Last 2 matches on fraggednation we had 6 players vs. miss, and 3 players vs. DRC - big thx to spc & doomy who came on short notice and we could at least play 1-2 maps. Then my internet crashed completely and i have returned but the match was already over. And now miss challenged us again!

I know we all have a lot going on in our lives beside quake & summer will come soon and if it will be good, activity will drop even further i guess.

I don't want to place blame on the ones who dont come, but I want to seek for solutions! do you think it is just a mere "phase" that will go away or has 333 developed to an inactive clan? Well, I cant do more than provide good and interesting matches and send mails to you so that you have exact clanwar facts and reminders to come!

It is just frustrating when I sent mails to over 20 people and merely 3 arrive at a clanwar! I must either think to drop my clanleading actions (if I see it is fruitless) 0r work on with other ways and other steps to be taken!

I see it this way: It is more than ok and noone needs to be ashamed or anything like it if q3 is not as important to our members as it was in past, really! But if you say you are active and willing to bring 333 further you must support the clan by playing for it! The first goal is to have fun and a good time with friends the second is to win and own. At The moment or at least a few weeks ago we had both, but the problem is that many of the clan members are so unreliable in terms of coming or not coming to clanwars - it is often a gamble: what team we have on a clanwar / who comes / do we have a chance with this team?

Another problem is to set the right days so most of you can come - but if we are challenged i have only 3 dates to choose from and i choose that where i think most of us have time to come... thats all i can do - or i would have to TRY to change EVERY date to the most suitable day. but thats simply too much work for me!

What shall we do?

I think we just need to focus league matches atm and dunno about the future - like you said summer is coming and maybe we aint so active during that time. You do great job abz and lets see how others reacts for activity. But meanwhile if next FN games are like we had yesterday, we should put ourselves to "vacation" in ladder if that is possible. I cant bring any good solution for this either...

Btw where is Ben? Havent seen him ages now and yesterday i sended group 333 email, his email rejected the mail and i guess its disabled. o.O

hmmm its not easy to say .....

i dont understand we was many and really active just before the match vs miss*** ...

anyway i think its not a problem next time they will have more members ! we cant say we are inactive

2 weeks ago was : evol, penguin,shiva, spiral, psylle, absinthe, stema and me really active so its np !

i dont find solutions for that indeed...

true u doing a good job FN reminder morever u send at all 333"s players informations about matches Times etc....

we cant do more we use : mail & private forum !

i think we have the better potential players ! but what is frustating me its who have god players who dont come at cws

evol and none for exemple become inactive a lil in cw !

with them in 333 we can be number 1 for sure !

but in my opinion really active today in the clan is : spiral,psylle,absinthe sometimes shiva and me (guys who really play play play :P )

many things changed since last months, many clans, recrutment but i was think 333 find his stability i think we d'ont need more players !

lets wait about robin vote first of all !

and continue our match train and cw !

about FN dunno exactly.... guys registred on FN are inactive since ages cheeetos maiden ..... and matches become to be not interesting all 2 3 matches we  re play vs miss that becoming a litlle boring no ? :P

What u want all ? stay / quit FN ? what for? if we do taht we will have less matches for sure and of course less activity so i dunno really .....

or put on our site CHALLANGE US !!

and back at old system when we puted results directly on the site  u know .........

 

well i love u guys personnally i will be active but indeed its not easy with exams and i think all can have a good organisation to play one hour with 333 !

i think its not a problem ....

this summer i here i just go in holidays 15 August

As 333 is like the oldest ef clan, its understandable that 333 players have their lives, after 4 years of q3 =D We really should have an answer from all members about their activity, and if too many quited q3, then we should recruit. Also, we all have activity/jobs etc so what about making a calendar with possible dates for every members. Typical week disponibility etc. Anyway, we are 333 forever, i can see myslef at 60 years old beeing powned by 14 years old babies =D

good ideas guys! maybe i see this all too negative sometimes... but the email with week schedule and activity is a good idea!

I will accept the challenge of miss now and we'll see what happens there...

meanwhile, i hope you remember JerO! he is netherlands and was in stars - and i liked him a lot back then, he said he's still in q3 but plays other mods... he would be a nice guy to have - watch him a bit! yeah and hopefully robin recovers soon and finds out that he's strong!

maybe psy could write the schedule email? its a bit difficult to write cause we dont want to offend anybody, but well... if too many good ones are inactive we need some more - and as you all know and like our recruiting policy i dont think we will make big mistakes there...

and btw... spi/psy you have access to this site? is it possible/is there an option: that all links on this site are opened in a different window? cause i always must go back when following a link and its more work than just to close the window

Im back with Sinik, he told me he didnt ask 333, although he wanted to, because he heard we were too much and dont recruiting, so he asked loonies because they were 5/6 max at cws.

What do you think? Lets have an activity answer from all first, then see for recruitments, but thats true we are like 25 members and 3 at cws!

ffs... i have just written hell long post, when my browser crashed (when i typed maiden's name o_O) anyways now i remember why i stopped using 333 forum ages ago...



it is hell to late to write it again, i will try to sum that post in few words, i hope you don't mind:



f1 -> andi, good job, we support you, i mean it

f1 -> jero, i recall him form past, great nice guy, good player, keep eye on him

f2 -> mass recriutment to become active, when inactive players will play once again, some of 333rs will quit the clan (probably ones arent turned on by 333 spirit). I remember when we adam, wookie, exe? bartek?, darky quit us in pretty same moment.

f2 -> quiting fn, more matches, more opportunieties to have some fun toghether. miss is challenging us -> lets keep in interesting, let the ranking not be taking too serious




my activity -> I'm back to UK, as you know i have massive lags and packet loss here, so i won't help you much with the fights, tho i will try to come to teh clanwars, jsut for the spirit. But it will be difficult, due to some major projects for the uni that has to be done.



once again f1 for andi (my previous post had more to build on andi, but i guess you won't mind, keep doing the great job), oh, and get some self-confidence from shop on the corner, it helps ;]

PS1 once again: does anyone heard anything from Maiden? I noticed that he was logged to his fn account something like month ago. Is he still in his homeland or in uk? Anyone?

maiden wrote a mail some time ago that he's back in uk... but i didnt see him in the arena's since then, maybe he plays under a fake nick to get some ownage again... or he had so much real life business that he just hadn't time for q3 up to now...

the point where the EXS players left us was indeed hard, but they left to rebuilt EXS so this is the reason why adam, bartek & exe left at the same time...

and yeah well, i didnt mean mass-recruitment ;D but maybe some more, good chosen players like jero or maybe javeliner you talked so much about... but as activity is the main problem, we must be very sure about them!

and finally i saw robin again yesterday, let's see what he'll make of it now...

p.s. maybe you, peng, can try to set your q3 settings in a way where you can minimize your problems at least??? can anybody help him there? or ask adam/none about it?! ---> low resolution low /max_packets, different /rate /snaps ect.?   ....yes university takes a lot of time especially in great project "can sing a song" of it

back to two things that were better explained in my 'lost mail'. I have spend some more words to describe the issue of my ping and the recriutments.



By the term 'mass recruitment' I meant a situation of recruting a player that we are not really sure about, but we do recruit him becasue of upcoming matches, low activity, and so on. Even if this is owning player, if you aren't concerned, lets give him more time, or lets just resign. Back to recriutments, f1 for him (if he is a same old jero ofc) and f1 for jave, i hope both of them will be active



About my ping problems: I have a wifi shared home network with resonable download bandwidth and really low upload. When one of my 5 flatmates will start uploading anything, or open any p2p downloading program with any resobable limits for upload, i get massive packet loss, and crazy pings, like 2000ms-3000ms to web portals. The router has kinda bad settings (cause the bandwidht could be allocated by router with limits for every flatmate), but hte owner of the router doesn't want to change anything. Unfortunatelly this is not the only problem with my network. The other one is present all the time, even when noone is usiing the network. When i play i start warping, (the game is smooth, te fps is constant 125, ping is green, it's PR 1.31, but every half second my q3 hangs for a miliseconds) and this makes playing really unpredicteble or unconfortable :/. I will try what i can do to start playing normal in UK, maybe some changed rate/snaps/max_packets settings will minimize this problem. Anyways, as you can imagine, combination of this two issues, makes any online playing a pain in tha a**.



I will try my best tho, because i miss playing with you, when i was in Poland and we were playing toghether once again i really had some great time ; )

about activity indeed lets wait about activity! recrut more players is maybe not the solution!

Maybe we must update the !Members! section to put some players in inactive and guys who are in inactive back in active !

JeRo ye its a good guy and really skilled! captain of Stars i liked him on the past! he seems to be back sometimes but i dont see him often! offer him a place in 333 could maybe give him a chance to back in eFreeze world? its F1 for me !

As andi said we must just choose really oportunities recrutment!

Well for me, i consider me not good enough to play wars anymore i can play on most war days but I don't have the time to practice. Most evenings i have my pc and msn on.



However, if your realy short on players you can call me on msn and i will come but don't expect to mutch.
