No, Deem. What I tried to highlight was that your reasoning is really poor. Being tone deaf won't prevent you from getting a job or from having a "normal" social life whereas special people do have a "special" social life and do suffer from people who look at them like they're animals and who make fun of them.

To put it in a nutshell, I second Manuel's statement. I tried not to appear irritated like he did, but as the french saying is "Je n'en pense pas moins".

Helloween is a great german metal band, no question! But the "keeper" times are a bit too "german" for me, maybe foreigners see this different I also call the "time of the oath" album my own: best song: the theme song. But - if you didnt know - Helloween changed the singer: They started with Michael Kiske (Best Solo Song from him: The Calling) and then they changed him for Andi Deris. Andi's Former Band: Pink Cream 69 - They are more of a Hard Rock Band, Best Songs: Welcome The Night, Shame, Followed By The Moon, One Step Into Paradise!

Furthermore Helloween also had Kai Hansen on guitar and add. micro. He founded another great Power Metal Band called: Gamma Ray (my advise/best songs: Rebellion In Dreamland [Album: The Land Of The Free] Somewhere Out In Space [Album: same name] And: Majestic [latest Album and hardest])

Masterplan's best song is - in my opinion - Crimson Rider! Roland Grapow is a great guitar-player no question. Masterplan also got Mike Terrana on drums - he plays in Various Bands, e.g. Axel Rudi Pell (group called after this guitar-player, and he beats roland grapow in my opinion, got 3 albums of them - Recommendation: The Wizards Chosen Few [Best Of Album with most great songs on it])

And by the way: believe it or not - Sascha Gerstner (guitar @ helloween) is my uncle's cousin - and no, i sadly cant get tickets from him...

The Best Metal Band from Germany is clearly: Blind Guardian! I Got Every Single Album from them (Kai Hansen & others had diverse guest starings throughout the years on their albums) - You see all these bands maybe called a great family

And Loxotron is right, the greatest metal band ever IS Iron Maiden, along with their shouter Bruce Dickinson who himself released so many great solo albums: Accident Of Birth, The Chemical Wedding, Tyranny Of Souls!

Gamma Ray is nice band too, i like their last album called Majesty. By the way Andi u know the group called Grave Digger, its really nice too.

I saw Helloween and Gamma ray this winter in stockholm! awesome concert!

I love kiske! He and Bruce is the best singer i've ever heard! you should listen to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNn82xpCFMw . Michael kiske voice kills. always with kiske is also another really good song. helloween definitely miss both kiske and kai hansen or at least i do.

Sasha Gerstner is really good guitarist and i really like their last album: Gambling with the devil. Sasha made some neat riffs and solos

when you say to "german" i know what u mean. its the same here in sweden...we hate hammerfall, in flames and such swedish band because they are swedish and they got the "gothenburg sound" which sucks! Peavey 5150 is the one to blame!

 

This young Deem doesn't not represent Sweden : ) My experience is that we like Hammerfall and In Flames here, a lot, and i am older than this bish =)

2nd, Metallica has sold almost 100 million albums today and Iron Maiden only 70 about, and maiden had album 3 years longer than Metallica, so Metallica is the most successful heavy metal band of all times and will remain the champions : )

Well and yeah, I like swedish bands a lot: In Flames & Hammerfall are nice! Grave Digger is also German, but I don't like them too much anymore... but the song: Heavy Metal Breakdown still owns.

By too german, i mean the voice of the singer, and the meaning behind the lyrics... by they all learned a great deal the last 10 years

Aha then i dont knew what u ment...anyway i dont like the swedish band and i bet that maiden have sold more than metallica now...compare last maiden album with last metallica album then metallica is half the way down in the grave...such a tragedy to see metallica this bad nowadays...maiden will never do a bad album and thats it! Did you hear Iron Maiden's last concert in Gothenburg, they played their first 3 albums only and sucked, was so dry : )

The time i see them live, i hope they play later albums as well, coz maiden has only made better songs with time, mostly.  

Metallica will still have the most powerful sound Live, my 2 brothers saw Iron Maiden and Metallica same day at Roskilde year X.

And said Iron Maiden has a more elegant finger play and Metallica much more rough with deeper riffs, it's a matter of what you like =]
