Just quick curious question..

I'm guessing these sounds work as a model would? place it in the right place - if the server isnt pure - use them, only people with them will hear it correctly...so deleting the orginals would mean that if u didnt have others would only get the writing?

if u dint have the sound file  then u will see nothing not the words or the sounds, because the words are part of the script so when u call the sound it plays the sound and adds the words as well,

I think that text is visible to those who doesn't have the same file. Only the sounds are not heard.

there is no other way u have to type them all in if u want them, bes ting to do is bind them to a letter,    of it u want to be extra like me go into the.cfg file and put them in there, that way u have them same as bindign but just a safer way of doing it.

 

wirte a config called autoexec.cfg thenput that in there just like binds, then when quake loads all the sounds will 2

i wouldnt advise editting directly into config if u use a q3config...thats why alot of people lose all their binds...

may make a lil service for peeps to get configs made into autoexec...but this takes quite a while and not quite of the same edge of makin peeps sigs
